This is one of those cafe bar places that seems to be trying to be all things to all people, and actually, it really does this quite well.
In the day it's often rather empty, which is a shame, as particularly in summer when the big folding doors are open, this is a nice place to hang out and watch the world go by. The food here's a bit of a mixed bag - much of it is Italian based (pizzas and pastas), but with a few other types of food represented, such as curries and fajitas. Given that this is not a dedicated restaurant, I was really rather impressed with the quality of the food when I came here - I had a seafood risotto, and as ever I am a sucker for some decent seafood.
In the evening it gets busier and there is often live music here. Despite this, it can be a little lacking in atmosphere - I'd recommend it more as a daytime food place than an evening drinking venue. read more
