FANTASTIC food!!! I love empanadas that are baked, not fried, and that's exactly what they serve -…read moreand they do it extremely well. If you order a dozen, you get to choose 4 flavors I believe. It comes with chimichurri and aioli. They also sell various drinks, like Mexican Coke, Peruvian Inca Cola, and other drinks. During our dinner, we saw a man (presumably an owner of sorts) saying hi to customers. I assume they were returning as they seemed to remember each other. Unfortunately, he didn't stop by to check in on us so not sure. Definitely coming back for the empanadas!

There was a compelling promotion through UberEats, so we placed and order for delivery of…read moreready-to-eat empanadas. It has been 4 years since my last visit, and they have really stepped it up. The food was great, both in flavor and quality. Food - Cheesy Garlic Bread 5/5: This was well worth the carbs. The garlic is the star, but the Italian seasoning, especially the oregano, really wake it up. Great texture and crunch without any sitting grease. - Empanadas 4.5/5: The crust was light and flaky without being too fatty/greasy/oily. There were layers to the flavor profiles and there was a generous amount of filling in each. 1. Chili Verde Pork 5/5: This was our favorite. Savory and tangy, but with a minimal amount of heat. The pork was tender, the onions added great flavor, and the corn worked witth it, too. 2. Pepperoni and Sausage 4.5/5: The peppers and onions really elevated these, especially since there was not much grease, just flavors. 3. Spinach and Cheese 4/5: Great flavor, plenty of spinach and garlic, and not much oil. 4. Shredder Steak 3.5/5: Reminded us of a machaca stew; hearty and filling. Vegetables were all well cooked and retained tbeir textures amd flavor. 5. Chorizo and Egg N/A: Apparently this is no longer available, but appears as an option on the order and their website Sauces - Chimichuri 5/5: This was phonemonel, so fresh and made with quality oil. The larsley and oregano lead, with the garlic and mild acidity filling the middle and the finish. Very green, flavorful, and enhanced everything that we dipped in it. - Pink Sauce 4/5: this is not what I gravitate towards, but it pairs really well with the cheesy garlic bread and the Pepperoni and Sausage empanada. We understand the logic as to how they substituted for what was not available, but we wish that we would have been contacted. There were several other flavors that we wanted to try, but we will be back.

Stellar Service and Exquisite Food!…read more I came into Villa Roma for dinner around 6:00 PM, absolutely famished. I was thrilled to be seated right away and given the choice of where to sit. My waitress was a beautiful, bilingual, and incredibly friendly woman named Berenice. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and clearly has a wonderful rapport with the regulars and locals. Taking her recommendation, I ordered the Entraña steak dinner plate (cooked medium) with a side of crunchy garlic fries, along with empanadas and fried calamari to start. The pacing of the meal was fantastic. The empanadas were brought out immediately, followed closely by the calamari. The flavors were so exquisite that I completely cleared both appetizer plates while enjoying my water! My main entrée arrived very shortly after. Because I enjoyed the starters so much, I was too full to finish it, but I tasted the steak and a few fries. The steak was perfectly soft and absolutely delicious! I packed the rest to-go, and ended up ordering two extra meat empanadas and a Coke Zero (partly because I needed to break a $20 bill so I could leave a cash tip!). In total, everything came out to $93.72, including the tip. I don't treat myself to a meal out like this even once every three months, but I am so glad I came. The entire staff works seamlessly together to make sure all customers are attended to super fast. I am officially a huge fan and will absolutely be back--especially for their half-price empanada Tuesdays and buy-one-get-one-free pizza Wednesdays. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Empanadas: Spinach empanada, the filling was to wet, too milkiy spinach not trimmed enough, and it tasted worse since it was fried. Had they controlled the picadillo prep, it wouldn't be milky. Chicken empanada- This did not taste as our traditonal empanadas, way too many spices and it was spicy, we do not do spicy, we do flavor. Chicken tasted sandy. Choripan: Poor meat quality, too chewy and grainy, I felt like I was eating sand. Bread overdone. Rusa: Bland. Overpriced for what you get and for the quality of the food. Keep it authentic, don't re-invent the wheel. I give it 2 stars for still having some great products at the market, free parking and pleasant service, but my goodness, your prices are too high compared to other Argentina establishments.

I also come here (at least) twice a week. On the weekends and whenever I take a weekday off work. I start work too early to come during the week otherwise I'd probably be here 7 days a week. I get the São Paulo bowl and I add blueberries, peanut butter, chia seeds and slivered almonds. It is honestly so good I haven't even tried anything else lol. I need to but I'm a creature of habit. The fruit is so fresh and the portions are always perfect. I happened to show up on an anniversary a few weeks ago so now I have a cool Açaí Republic T-shirt. If you order from the app you get a discount! I have the system down perfectly. I order when I am three traffic lights away (at a red light of course) and it's just about, if not ready, when I walk in. Let's talk about the staff. They are so nice! I wish I knew the gals name that's usually there on Saturday and Monday mornings. I walk in and she says HEY ANGIE! You rarely find that kind of customer service anymore. And if you ever walk in when they are making the pumpkin bread? Omg. It smells like heaven. Also, the açaí here is the best I've ever had. The taste is so much better than anywhere else. And I've tried a lot. Never again. Açaí Republic here on out.

Oh, what a difference a year makes…read more.. We were slow to return here due to having too many restaurant choices, the wife's work schedule and a reduction in red meat consumption. SERVICE was solid again and cordial. I thought to myself let's celebrate the wife's birthday here again. Oops. The REVIEW: I still like the vibe on that patio albeit loud and proud. SHISHITO GRILLED PEPPERS: -- we were told 1 of 10 is spicy but the wife is a fan of big spicy where for health reasons I am a rare consumer of the heat. Not true with this pile, most were hot and/or spicy per both of us. Tasty regardless but I tapped out early. The wife could easily handle this heat and more so she did. -- nice char and flavor and nicely done -- good portion size for an app for sure -- appropriate moderate use of oil RATING = A TWELVE (12) OUNCE RIB-EYE STEAK (Medium-rare): -- when it arrived, I was immediately cornfused as it resembled an Outback Steakhouse rib-eye and most definitely NOT a above average or premium steakhouse rib-eye -- where was the thick premium cut steak I ordered? -- it was super THIN and if it was 12 ounces, it was "barely barely Larry" -- this was very perplexing as last year we did the "Hatchet steak" and that should and would be in the same vein as a rib-eye normally speaking -- unfortunately this was clearly NOT that kind of rib-eye steak -- the worst part is the price of $68.00 for a steak I could have likely had at Outback for $28.00 or so -- it was plenty edible and there was a good balance of fat to meat -- unfortunately, the tongues knew this was not a "prime" nor a "choice" level steak quality and not worth the coin paid -- I left confused as to how this ended up in their kitchen -- Foodies especially are not dining out and paying these prices for something they could easily do at home for less money RATING = C+ "FAUX" GRILLED VEGGIES: -- here was a another "ball drop"...either someone forgot to grill them or they do not grill them -- the potatoes probably were lightly grilled, maybe -- the asparagus, green beans, carrots and zucchini were clearly NOT grilled -- the white onion was grilled -- a total mixed bag here at best RATING = C+ TEN (10) OUNCE SKIRT STEAK ("medium"): -- cooked to perfection -- tough membrane layer on bottom was a tremendous match for a dull steak knife? -- neither one of us could break through easily...it became a sawing competition regardless of the angle of the blade to free a piece of meat -- delicious steak after the arm and scapula work out -- big fans of skirt steak and this was exceptional -- chimichurri sauce is dark in color and not as sour as last time; does not appear as freshly made however -- modest amount of chimi sauce and none in a bowl on the side -- it feels strange paying $45 for a skirt steak but such is life in our inflationary world RATING = A FRIES: -- firm and crisp coating/batter -- delicious -- some of the better fries I have had RATING = A We still made the most if it, but the wife was clearly not pleased like last year. In spite of my documenting in our online reservation that it was the wife's birthday there was no offer of a petite dessert flan or anything. Not that it would have saved this meal, but the gesture would have been nice.
