This place is right on the property for an outdoor adventure park that does tubing in the winter and river tubing/ ropes courses/camp in the summer. Being in Harper's ferry and given the neighboring business this is a captive audience gold mine for a restaurant. Sadly, we came here on a Saturday and it was PAINFULLY obvious their service capabilities could not match the customer demand signal. We started at 4PM and they were about at 50% capacity (generously). You order your own food at the bar or via QR code. This is a standard practice so nothing wrong there, but it did take us about 10 minutes to then get our drinks. The food came out within 15 minutes. Food was descent if not a little on the expensive side. Beer was fairly priced. They don't have a super large menu and they were out of a handful of things. Like for one, being out of iced tea seemed like an easy fix from my perspective working in bar/restaurant management in the past. We went and enjoyed the Christmas lights and then went back in around 615PM for a nightcap. This is where things went off the rails. The inside was full the outter tables were 40-50% taken. Overall I would say 80% of a jam packed house. We ordered 2 Irish coffees and a beer. 25 minutes later I went in to check on our drinks and the patrons faces inside said it all. The couple at the bar had been waiting 30 minutes to pay their bill, one lady got up and left because people had come in after her, ordered the same thing, eaten, paid, and left before she got her food. They hadn't even started our drinks and when I went to the bathroom I could see the kitchen order display and half their tickets were lagging, badly. From what I could tell they had 3 people tending bar/running food plus other food runners. I don't know what the kitchen staffing was. This place should be KILLING it with how they are set up location/clientele wise but I can say for certain they will take a hit on return business tonight. This place has great potential and I hope for the owner's sake this was an off night. As a bartender/bar manager watching personnel work tempo, efficiency, etc... I was screaming inside.

Service was good--Makenna was professional and attentive without being overbearing. Our food arrived quickly and was hot, which is always appreciated. Nothing extraordinary, but a reliable spot if you're in the area and want a no-fuss meal.

Unfortunately, the food was a big letdown. My mom ordered the meatball sub--the meatballs themselves were well seasoned, but there was no sauce on the sub at all, which made it very dry, and the roll was quite hard. I shared a pizza with my daughter-in-law, and while the dough was amazing, again there was barely any sauce. What was there seemed to separate in the middle, almost like it was too greasy or possibly undercooked. We also ordered the sampler appetizer, which was disappointing across the board. The onion rings were overcooked, the mozzarella sticks were undercooked, and the chicken tasted like it may have been freezer burnt-not good at all. On the positive side, the cider/beer selection had a standout. I tried an orange creamsicle-style cider that was really good. However, the light beers were not enjoyable--one honestly tasted like a dirty shoe, and it wasn't cold. It lacked that crisp, refreshing quality you expect, which makes me think the keg temperature might be off. Overall, while the service and cleanliness were great, the food and some of the beer quality need serious improvement.

Our server, I think her name was Tamera (I butchered the spelling) is probably the best server I've ever had in my life. She was so cheerful, incredibly helpful, incredibly FUN and truly helped make our night one to remember. The restaurant itself was very cozy, we sat in the bar area and the vibes were very comfortable but that could've been because they were slow and not many people were there. For food we mostly did apps but I did get I think the whiskey bacon burger and it was probably one of the best burgers I've had I want to say ever. THE DRINKS, obviously the reason we came. It was my first time drinking so naturally I wanted to try different shots and I did have a piña colada (delicious btw) and my parents were asking for drinks that weren't super well known but the staff legit went out of their way to accommodate us and our crazy requests. It was absolutely hilarious hearing the staff laughing about the crazy drink names and my inability to take a shot lol. It honestly felt like I was surrounded by my friends that's how great the vibes were. Even though we came out to drink our server (once again she was absolutely amazing) brought me some water because she didn't want me to end up miserable the following day which was incredibly sweet and smart. Thank you to the incredible staff who worked Jan. 19 2026 at 9-10 at night! You guys made my birthday truly memorable with my family and I am forever grateful!
