    Cinnamon + pecan roll

I visited The Eat Shop because I heard amazing things about their Cinnamon rolls and it is located right on Marion's main strip! The place was BUSY, but we moved through the line relatively quickly. I tried some baked goods, they were ok but nothing earth shattering. I'll probably be back, but I'm not rushing it. Very aesthetically pleasing interior!

Good was decently priced and the sandwich was made fresh and tasted good. The request for no mayo didn't make its way to the kitchen, however, but it wasn't enough of a deal for me to ask them to remake it. My largest complaint is the acoustics in the restaurant - there was a louder group on the other side of the restaurant and their noise carried throughout making it difficult for my partner and I to have a conversation. Even after they left and it went down to normal service levels of sound, it was still tough to hear. I can only imagine how hard it is on a busy Saturday morning. The cafe is very cute and I will visit again, however I doubt I will eat inside as it's so very hard to hear.

Adorable cafe in uptown Marion! Absolutely loved everything I tried, and service was very speedy and friendly too.

    Cinnamon roll and iced latte

Amazing decor surrounds you while you enjoy food items, bakery items and coffee. They have a pretty good menu for breakfast and lunch, as well as many pasteries displayed in a case to make your mouth water! Although not on the menu you can get flavored syrups added to your coffee which is a nice touch since they don't have a diverse choice of coffees. I thoroughly enjoyed their mac n cheese, a bit pricey for the cup size but so tasty that it was worth it. Wished I could have had my cinnamon roll warmed but it was soft and had a generous slather of frosting which I liked. I was intrigued by their sandwiches so definitely planning to go back to sample one of those. Worth the stop!

I was happy to find the small shop in the early afternoon on a warm Saturday. The sweet, understated smell that enveloped me when I walked in confirmed I was at the right place. As I arrived later in the day and was only looking for a sweet treat (or two), I was fine with the limited selection of cupcakes and cookies in the up front case. There may have been more available to me if I asked. The person that came out from the back was very kind and offered a free sample of the bread pudding they had that day: cinnamon roll. The small bites of the sample (warm, gooey, cinnamon with frosting) convinced me to get a full size. Wright Touch also had a cupcake flavors of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, red velvet, and mint chocolate in the case and I choose the mint chocolate. All the cupcakes have a filling in the middle. Both the bread pudding and cupcake were great. The cake and frosting were dense and not too sweet. The bread pudding was everything you would hope for from a cinnamon roll and then some: soft, sweet, and chewy. Tasted homemade and I have no notes. I would highly recommend checking out Wright Touch for a sweet treat or bread pudding. I can't wait to go back!
