Once you think you are done browsing through all the shops, you notice a set of stairs leading to more finds upstairs and then a third floor! Wow, I could have spent all day here! There are various items from all different time periods and some great deals. I scored a red "train bag" with a 70's style Amtrak button still pinned to the outside. My friends Carolynne and Andy also both found some great stuff. If we had more room in our car, we would have bought some great furniture. I found a cute telephone desk and a writing desk in need of refinishing. Carolynne had her eye on a mammoth set of mail sorting shelves, which would have made a cute bookcase. This will definitely be a stop on our next trip and we'll make sure to rent a U-Haul for all of the great furniture finds.

Wednesday morning, some extremely rude man from this shop called my office, accused us of cold call telemarketing and hung up before I even knew who he was. So, I looked up the telephone number and found out it was "Light House Lamp Repair." If that's how they treat potential customers, I certainly won't be giving them any business. I didn't catch they guy's name, but he could stand to learn some manners.
