I'm a fan of this little getaway. They have a surprising number of IPAs on tap, especially local ones. I came here on my last day in the tri cities, expecting to have a drink or two....yeah didn't happen. Drink drank drunk to the max. The servers were super attentive and quick to bring requested drinks. There are some games in the back near the bathroom, but it's still more or less a fairly quiet bar where you can hear your companion without having to shout, even over the games airing on tv. This place leaves me with a warm fuzzy memory and I'll be sure to return when I visit again. read more

First have to assume the Dugout in Richland is related to the Dugout in Pasco. Stopped in for a beer and burger after attend the Art Festival in the park. That was the first mistake. They were woefully understaffed, a bartender and a server. You would think with a major event going on the owners would have staffed accordingly. After taking our order for beer, delivering the beer to the table then taking our order for the special (cheeseburgers), the waitress never came back to our table. After waiting for almost an hour I complained to the waitress and the burgers were miraculously ready. Claimed the delay was because the kitchen was small. Next problem: The burgers were paper thin and the order was wrong. Ordered tater tots and ended up with fries. Won't go back to this place again. Whenever I get tire work done on the ole MINI, I do it at Discount Tires in Pasco, and then jog across the street to shop at Yokes. I've walked by this little bar a few times, and have always been surprised at how crowded it was. I was always afraid to go in solo....until recently. I dropped in here for lunch while my snow tires were getting swapped out. It was lively in here with quite a few patrons, and the NHL playoffs playing on the big screens. It was hard to concentrate on the game with the loud juke box and lively conversations, so I just sat there and tried to look cool (I tried reading to no avail). I noted some of the music selections: o Bon Jovi o Whitesnake o The Who o The "more cowbell song" (Yeah, so I was basically transported to my high school years!) I can't remember my server's name, but she was super cute and cool, anyone who refers to me as "Hon", gets props in my book! Now they appeared to have a set list of brews on tap; with a handful of cheap beers and some cooler microbrews a priced a little higher, but still not bad. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were your basic ridged-fries, but the burger was definitely juicy and tasty. So yeah, perhaps after a Dust Devils game, or if you are getting tires worked on, I would definitely recommend stopping into this cool dive bar! read more

I was given a door on the balcony, 4' from back door. I ordered Beer, fries...finished 1/2....all of the sudden...i found myself in a cloud of smoke. 5' from me, 10' from back door/window. Owner, apparently, disagrees with state law: No smoking within 25' of any window/door. I am allergic to nicotine in the smoke form. I informed the waitress of my allergy...she asked me to move to the far corner of the balcony, 30' away from the smoker, i refused, insisted the smoker be asked to move in peaceful compliance with state law, the manager asked the smoker to move, asked me to pay my bill and not return. I called the police for a non-emergency of state law enforcement.....They arrived, and concurred. the company is revising their rule book 7 years late. the manager had the unenviable desire to charge me for a complete meal which was 1/2-way complete as i doused eyedrops for 3 min., coughed for 2 min.. I do not expect the company to change a smoking rule which, for seven years has increased revenue 5%.....Rest assured, smokers, this remains your addiction headquarters..Hide in the back...out of direct police line of site....just outside of accountability. Almost a dive bar but just barely avoids being a true dive bar. It's OK in every aspect and it's not a terrible place to watch a sports event if you're looking for a place like that. Because it's the only true standalone bar in the West Pasco area (as far as I know), it's a go-to for some of my friends so I stop in now-and-then. They have a ladies night deal which is 50% of most drinks on Wednesday nights but since I'm a guy I really don't get to take advantage of that deal. If they had that deal for men as well I'd probably be more insistent to stop in during the week. The karaoke is OK but the sound system can be abrasive. They need to pull the speakers used for karaoke, buy a matching pair and reposition them in better spots so that people aren't getting blown out that sit near the one good speaker in the place. It's really a modest-cost item that, if done correctly, would easily improve the karaoke experience in a heartbeat and allow people to still interact with one another when a singer is up just because one speaker wouldn't have to do all the work (and be soooo loud). The food is OK here too. I've had a couple appetizers and a burger here before. Pretty filling and decent quality. It's not a strong reason to come here but if you're here, you can know that you're not getting crap food. read more

It's a dive bar without being a dive! My favorite bartenders are easily Kendra & Bambi. Even after long periods of being away, they know my drink order before I even get to the bar. They deal with a huge amount of people especially on the weekends and they still manage to give me a smile. Food is what it is. Bar food. Tastes great while drinking, what more do you expect? Great local place for beer, bar food and pool! We're out of towners from California, and we were treated incredibly well. Bartenders were very attentive to us and extremely nice. Went there tonight for a night out around 4:30. Three people working the floor. A few people in there but not too busy. Sat there for ten minutes before we seen anyone. Discussed leaving but finally got our drink order in. When the drink order was taken we weren't asked or offered menus. When the drinks arrived we asked for menus. Sat there for another 15 minutes. Finally we had enough and I headed up to the bar. Asked to pay the bill and our drinks weren't even in the system. Paid the bill and didn't leave a tip. Those must be earned. Went to hop drops and we were treated like royalty. All of this while someone was washing off the patio. That patio received better service than we did.
