The facility was built in the last decade, so everything is still relatively new & fresh-looking. They offer A LOT here: 1. Full-sized indoor competition pool, home of the Piranhas swim team 2. A big water slide! 3. A large indoor play-pool for the little ones 4. Senior center, with a full range of activities & a meal program 5. Party rooms to rent. Had a kid's birthday party here once, they were very helpful about set-up and all that. 6. Full-sized indoor basketball court 7. Indoor climate-controlled track (about 1/10 mi) 8. Large & well-equipped weight room with treadmills, ellipticals, etc. 9. An extensive calendar of fitness classes (aerobics to Zumba) 10. Lots of evening craft classes, workshops, adult-activity classes, etc. I once took a six-week ballroom dance class here & had a blast. Many of these things are free with your WCC ID; others are just a few bucks. Ask at the front desk. The track is free; weight room is $2 per use; pool is $3. It also has a large pool for lap swimming which they keep at a great warmer temperature. They have a family dressing room which is nice. The outdoor pool has a huge play area and beach entrance for the kids, plus a big pool and a nice lazy river. If I remember correctly it's $5 for the pool, but if you go in the evenings after 5, it's half price. They also have lots of activities for kids that we take advantage of such as kids night in, swim camp, all sports, Easter egg hunts, etc. The prices are extremely reasonable. The kids night in is the first Friday of the month and costs only $10 which includes pizza and swimming from 5:30-10:00, can't pay a babysitter for that amount plus they have so much more fun. The sports (3-6 age) run about $35 for the ones we've played: t-ball, basketball and soccer all which include a t-shirt. We also had a birthday party there which was a lot of fun. The rooms to rent was $19 an hour plus we had to pay the entrance fee to the pool for the kids (I think it was about $4 or $5 each). Overall, we love the community center and think it offers great programs for families.

They also partner with youth teams at almost every age group. The staff includes current and former professional players who help with every aspect of the game, physical and mental. There are specialty facilities and coaching for pitching, hitting, catching, and fielding. They also offer an excellent conditioning program! A really nice perk of membership is discounted baseball equipment on the best names in the game. If you have a youth baseball player who is looking to take their game to the next level, you owe it to yourself to check out Natural Baseball!

You're better off not signing up and just walking in. 2. Brining guests is a complete hassle and you're charged a non refundable fee of $25 if life changes happen and you don't come with a guest that day. On several occasions I was denied guests even tho it was well before the required 24hour application to request them. On multiple occasions my requests were completely ignored and went unreported to even if they were placed 72hours in advance. I was frequently traveling to KC for work and sports only to be hassled when my wife visited from LA stating that I reached my cap for local guest passes (mind you, she lives in California full time and would visit me about once or twice a month for a weekend) 3. Steam room in women's bathroom is utterly disgusting and wasn't cleaned since I was there over a several month period, how'd I know? The dirt streaks and giant clump of hair that just remained of the floor for over 6months 4. Coming from Los Angeles and the Heimat gym where I pay $350/month, I was excited to try this gym... but this gym is clearly nothing but a wanna-be elite gym. The best part of this place is the flavored water in the women's locker room- And maybe the pools in the summer but good luck finding parking 5. However, the tomato soup just tasted like thick, sour, tomato paste. It was not creamy like typical tomato soup.
