They took most of the summer to fix it while we lived in a hotel and did a crap job. They didn't even paint everything like they were supposed to in the living room or stairwell. The floor they put in is already cracked in multiple places throughout the living room and dinning room. The grout in the bathroom floor is coming up. Overall it looks worse after their "fix" than it did before the incident. Again, I wish I could give a lower rating. I HIGHLY recommend you consider another company. We definitely got screwed.

Given the hazard of sewage, we knew we had to call professionals in to help with the clean up. ServPro was the first we called and despite being called in on a Sunday afternoon to help us out, they remained super helpful going the extra mile. The ease of completing forms on a tablet device to frequent communications from all members on the team has been a true help. After discussing with him a multiple step process that he would take to properly prep the walls, it turned out that he did not follow through with the discussed process. Instead of sanding the seams, applying a skimmed coat, re-sanding, priming, and then painting like originally discussed, Tom only primed the walls and then painted. Because of this, the primer seeped through the paint, leaving white streaks and blotchy spots of paint on our walls. After bringing this to Tom's attention, Tom promised to refund a portion of the money back to us to have another painter fix the issue he caused. Tom informed us that he would send a money order with the refunded money but because he asked us to pay him in cash, we were not comfortable with this and requested him to drop the money back off or meet us somewhere to give us the money back. We have now reached out to Tom multiple times asking for the money he promised back and he has never answered us. In addition, Tom then proceeded to post pictures of our home on Facebook after not responding to our messages. However, what his Facebook posts failed to include was did the poorly painted over wallpapered dining room that he claimed to have experience in painting, which I have included pictures of in this review. Tom's morals, integrity, and ethics seem to be nonexistent as well as his attention to detail and quality of work. Tom willingly took advantage of my family which is very upsetting especially with it being during the holiday season. If you are in need of a painter, I would not use Tom the Painter and recommended finding someone who is trustworthy and can produce detail oriented, quality work.

(hahaha my opinion) in our opinion he hustled all the money we gave him. his "crew" was who ever he could hustle to work for him ( in our seeing and our opinion )the two wonderful young men that we had at our house to work for this person , told us they hadn't been paid for the last job they did for him. they weren't sure they would get anything for this job. sure enough. after 3 days, they were gone. we never got our house painted, never saw any paint buckets, never saw any dumpster ( we paid for their rental) , never had a crew that was certified and insured he never provided a pennsylvania license to do his business! we had to eat a lot of $, but good riddance of shamsters, is our day! be ware be awer no stars, we had to put a star, not a single star is worthy of this "painter".

We've hired Rick and his crew for two projects at our house and they did a fantastic job on both of…read morethem. The first job we hired them for was painting our house. I contacted half a dozen other painters, most of whom were annoying and difficult to just get a quote out of. Rick was courteous and prompt with his communication and his bid was very reasonable. He and his guys were always careful to explain what they were doing and their work ethic was unbelievable. They'd put in long days and worked through the weekend to get the job completed. Rick told me their crew does all kinds of jobs, not just painting. We were a bit skeptical hearing that initially, but after being very pleased with the painting project, we brought them back in to hang and finish drywall on the ~1000 sq. ft addition we were putting onto our house. Our skepticism was proved completely misplaced. They did a beautiful job on the drywall finishing and were out here working Saturdays and Sundays (once until 5pm). Rick and his crew are skilled, fair and hard working. I'm looking forward to hiring them again in the future.
