The staff here are amazing, I had a very nice experience getting my IV. This location is really lovely. They have a great balance between visibly clean facilities and aesthetic and fun design elements. The only thing that detracted from my experience was the classic membership pitch at checkout, I personally hate them and that's not the staffs fault - just wish it was casually mentioned and not a full sales pitch after every kind of appointment. However, that's pervasive in the industry so I'd come back regardless. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for a hydration IV or another one of their services.

The DRIPBaR on Long Grove Road in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for all things recovery and therapy. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable and makes sure that you have everything that you need. Good experience coming here.

Absolutely love this med spa like environment! It's so nice! I had the 100% Hydration Drip today with a b12 energy shot. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. The memberships are on sale too right now. The red light room is gorgeous!

Goodbye to my former self and a WARNING to those contemplating what I once considered a small…read morecosmetic procedure ....I just wanted to take a moment and share my story to spare someone from going through what I've gone through; the life long complications and the realization that I will be permanently disfigured both aesthetically and functionally. The face in the mirror will NEVER be the same as it was prior to January 30th nor will my soul. On January 30th: Celebrating my 40th Birthday I decided to get filler in my nasolabial folds (wrinkles between the lips and nose). Feb 1st: Incredible pain and white blanching/bluish tint. Told it was normal. Bruising. Feb 2nd: Realized what I was experiencing was skin necrosis and the tissue on the left side of my nose was dead and the cartilage was collapsing in on itself. This was from my own "gut instinct" that it wasn't bruising as I was told; the black skin was not going to "grow back". A laser treatment or IPL was not going to reshape my nose, as I was told. For the next several weeks I was shuffled to a "private" waiting room as to not let other potential clients see the damage that was done to my face. My self esteem, at an all time low, was further shattered by being hidden from plain view because the "med spa" didn't want their bottom line to be hurt. After that "follow up", where I was yet again told everything was fine and put "Aquaphore" on it; I made the decision that it was time to seek proper treatment from a competent medical professional. What followed was many months of not being able to leave my house unless it was to get my wet to dry bandages changed. The possibility of infection and further cartilage damage was my sentence to spend the next four months within the four walls of my home. In May I underwent my first reconstruction surgery. Skin and cartilage was taken from my ear to reconstruct the interior of my nose. This helped me be able to breath again (50%) from my left nostril. It was the first of many surgeries and procedures that will occupy the better part of my life. To hear the words, from a well respected facial reconstruction surgeon, that I will be permanently disfigured- was a tough pill to swallow. Yes, I made the ultimate decision to under go the procedure. However, I was never warned of the risks. I had absolutely no idea what to look for. Had I been properly informed of ALL the risks; even if they are considered rare, perhaps I would had made a more INFORMED decision. I was never given a waiver to review or sign. I never was verbally told of the dangers. I'm letting you know the risks and dangers of what some consider a small "cosmetic" procedure. If you are going to go that route; please consider going to a board certified surgeon. Someone that is familiar with the product they are injecting in your body. And if there is a complication, they are knowledgeable to be able to help you before the damage becomes permanent. The sad part, the "med spa" that did this, never once offered to pay ANY of my medical bills. Never heard from them again after the last follow up in mid February. I guess they thought I would go away and they were above the law. But doctors take a Hippocratic Oath to uphold specific ethical standards. This was not the case at Aestedispa in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Shame on you Dr. Christy Cone. I hope you don't do this to another client and hide behind your fake smile.

Leah is extremely rude and difficult to deal with! I bought many packages for laser hair removal…read morefrom Taylor, who was amazing and unfortunately left the practice. After a dozen or so visit I saved some from a package for future touch ups and I was assured they would not expire. Now the company switched systems and they have no record of all the packages I purchased and refuse to honor the ones I had left saying they expired anyways.

This is one of a handful of places that always seems to have a Groupon available for laser hair…read moreremoval. Usually that would make me somewhat hesistant but the prices were too good not to at least give it a shot. So I bought my Groupon for the small area option, opting to get my underarms done since it's a less conspicuous area in case something goes awry. Then I called and made an appointment that was almost 2 months away. Ugh, the cost of being on Groupon I guess. I had already done my research and I knew that since I'm naturally dark-haired and fair-skinned, it makes me the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. Pasty whiteness for the win (sidenote: I'm really not THAT white)! The first appointment I was a little nervous because I've heard everything from it hurts like holy hell to it's not painful at all. I would rate the pain of my first appointment at a 5 on a scale of 1-10, with it being about the equivalent of waxing. I was given the warning that it feels like a rubberband being flicked against the skin, which I'd say is a pretty accurate description. I won't lie, it hurt but definitely nothing unbearable. And the good news is that the whole procedure only lasts a few minutes (well, for underarms. Something like getting your legs done would probably be 20+ minutes. I would suggest NOT to start out with a big area!). I just had my second (out of three) appointments today. From the time I walked in, I was in and out in under 10 minutes and this time, I'd only rate the pain at a 2. Appointments are spaced a month apart to allow for the new hair growth cycle and after that initial appointment, I've barely had to shave. It's been glorious! The best part is that once you buy your first Groupon, they offer Groupon prices for anything else you want to get done after that. And now I already have a mental tally of everything in order that I'm planning to laser. I'm not going to go the Kim Kardashian route and become completely hairless or anything like that but to not have to shave my legs or underarms ever again?! Girls, you know what I'm talking about! And guys (I'd be surprised if any of you made it this far but), seriously, if you have any hair on your back whatsoever, buy that Groupon now. Highly recommended.
