Came here recently for a private team-building event for work and we had a blast! 2 hours to walk…read morethrough our chosen painting and come out with a unique canvas piece and some good bonding time. Our instructor Abigail was awesome- very high energy and kind and easy to follow along with. I've taken many painting classes before this and already knew what I was doing so I didn't need as much help, but it was new for most of my coworkers so Abigail was super amazing assisting them when needed or giving them guidance on what to do next. We chose "Broccoli" the cat, and you have the option to follow along with the instructor and paint your canvas exactly like the demo or go your own route- I chose to make mine look like my own sweet kitty so it's fun to have some creative freedom if you so choose. They host a lot of different events here, even a "paint your pet" night. After you come and paint something, if you want something fixed, adjusted or help with it you can come in any saturday morning and the artists will help you adjust your painting for free! Normally, this is a paint & sip place as well so you can bring a bottle of wine or your drink (alcoholic or NA) of choice to sip while you paint which is fun too. Definitely recommend this for a date night, girls night, coming with family or even to one of the events by yourself, it's a great way to wind down and let your inner creative come out!

I sat in the class and watched while my friend, his wife, and their 5 year old daughter…read moreparticipated in this drama class. Most of the kids there were aged from about 3 yrs to 8 years old. It's a small class of about 13 kids. The instructor is very high energy, like she was not only in plays in school, but also a cheerleader. The teacher would set up a story and then show the kids how to use their body language and voices in that stories setting. She kept it very fun, lighthearted, and entertaining for everyone. For example she would say something like; how do you react if you walked in the kitchen and saw the pet dog had made a mess with the trash which is now all over the floor. And they would reply back some like like, "Oh no!" And the teach would have them verbally say it very loud, and use their hands, arms, and body movement to also express that type of emotion from the kids. I think the classes are about 3 times per week, and about 1 hour each session, and they are held normally about 4pm or 5pm. The teacher also has another adult assistant there to help the kids learn the art of acting. The teacher also has the parents get involved and assist their kids was needed. So the whole family has a fun, silly time learning drama. Part of the class the parents are not needed, so most of them go next door to the bar and eat some snacks or get a drink while they're waiting on the class to end. This seems like a very nice class for young kids to take.

To respond to the previous person: As with everything, there are reasons behind it. Having been a backstage mom for several years, I can tell you it is impossible to memorize hundreds of students, their parents, and their custody arrangements. They dismiss after the recital by song, with police escort. Only those having a matching wristband to their child is able to pick up the child. The children love being backstage, and it isn't as stressful on the children as it is the parents. The recital process is thoroughly explained when you choose whether or not to participate. It is not mandatory. As far as the fees go: in any extra-curricular activity, there are fees and extras needed aside from program fees. We love it there!

Not only did he help eliminate my fears of signing in front of people. He took me from not being able to find the correct note to singing a solo in front of a crowed. Something I thought I would never do. As I continue my lessons my voice is getting better I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and started taking lessons.
