Seemed slightly burned, even though the squid was perfect (not rubbery). The seafood chowder was very hearty and good. Probably the best of the choices we made. We were happy with that one. Service was very friendly, but we didn't see her very often. Fortunately, we didn't need much extra.

-- A Golden Retriever's Review of The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse…read more 10/10. Would sniff again. My hoomans took me to The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse, and I must say, they really understand what matters to a dog. First of all, there's a nice outside deck where dogs are welcome, and it comes with a beautiful sniff of the bay. I spent a considerable amount of time conducting important scientific research with my nose. My hoomans ordered a burger that smelled absolutely AMAZING. They also got a stew with yummy-smelling meat in it. Naturally, I stared at them intensely in case they suddenly remembered that I am an important member of the family and should receive a sample. They did not. I was disappointed, but I remained professional. The food smelled great, the deck was perfect, the bay was sniffable, and my hoomans seemed very happy. Personally, I think the place would be even better if they offered a Golden Retriever tasting menu. Final rating: 5 out of 5 paws. Would visit again. Would sniff everything. Would absolutely judge my hoomans for not sharing the stew.

Not the Bonnie, 15 'mins drive and food was STILL hot, delicious and as always tasty! As far as dining In don't let the parking lot fool you. It may look JAMMED outside and no doubt it is busy inside but very few times have I ever waited to be seated or noticed other people waiting to be seated. Menu is a nice mix with of classic pub style food and healthier items. Their deserts are heavenly, mind you your piece never looks as big as the pieces In the display case. The Staff are always amazing. They treat my Wife and I like family and my 2 year old like a little King! For the family with kids, it is a family restaurant with EXCELLENT unisex washroom for the little ones with a beautiful change station. Not that it is an issue but there are Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) on site and in the open. They are not very loud so typically not an issue. Washrooms are always clean, Albright a bit chilly at times but I'd prefer that than to be in the pits of hell. Can't say enough about the place, food, staff all amazing !

The food here is decent - chicken wings were flavourful and the chicken supreme was juicy. Blueberries complemented the salmon well. Service however was horrible. First, they didn't really have proper seating for 5, so my group was a little cramped on a table designed for 4. Our server was usually nowhere to be found. At the end of the meal she told us she's new and still learning the ropes. While that's excusable, the service level from all the other staff was not. We've flagged down at least 2 other staff looking for our server, and while they just acknowledge and say "your server will be right with you", they DID NOT ACTUALLY GO GET HER. That's simply unacceptable.. Given the poor service I would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a relaxing dining experience.
