Medical Pet was the only one that answered and even though they were fully booked and closing in less than an hour, they still squeezed my doggy in and saw her. I was so happy when I arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating and wonderful. The clinic is very clean and has parking out front. Only about 10 mins from the border. I paid $160USD for the initial visit which covered the check-up, x-rays, and medications. Extremely affordable and fair pricing. My dog already had stitches on her cheek from another incident and the doctor offered to take them out at a later date. I went back a week after and they didn't charge me anything. She got her stitches at another vet in Poway (we paid $1100 for that visit, NEVER AGAIN). I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be bringing my puppies here for any veterinarian needs.

This is a small clinic but they come with everything other standard veterinary clinics may have. He even carries the most recent flea and tick preventatives. I got Bravecto (the exact kind I get in the US) for HALF the price they charge me in SD. Vaccinations are BEYOND affordable at 150 pesos (about $7) per vaccination. You receive a vaccination card and all possible proof of vaccinations for when you cross back. He also includes the sticker from the vaccination bottle for even further proof. This clinic also offers grooming services. Dr Martinez cut my dogs nails efficiently and quickly for only $5! Any vet in the US will charge double to TRIPLE that. Dr. Martinez is thorough and knowledgeable. He doesn't want to charge you for unnecessary treatments and will work with you to solve any issues at the lowest cost. His credentials are available online so you know he's a trusted certified veterinarian. If you want good veterinary care without feeling ripped off or don't have hundreds to pay for every vet check then coming here is a great option for anyone!

Left home at 8:30 and Crossed the border from Otay Ranch and arrived at the clinic around 9:10am. We were #15 already in the line. Clinic is pretty busy, so please be prepared and be patient. Pet was seen arpund 10am and was given instructions to come back at 4:30pm. Heading back to CV at 10:30 am was a breezy 45 minutes drive. Went back at 3:30 pm, arrived around 5:15 due to traffic at the border and in downtown TJ. They did amazing with the oral prophylaxis and our pet ended having 6 teeth pulled. Left the clinic around 5:15 pm and areived at Otay Ranch via 125 around 7:15pm. Young vet spoke great English and exlained everything thoroughly. Paid $200 deposit and remaining $ paid at pick-up. They also groomed my pet with little boss, free of charge. They said they donit as part of their service since some dogs get blood on their faces so they want them clean when picking up. Over-all, great experience. Highly recommended!!!!
