My dog Twinkie has had behavioral issues for 2 years, non stop barking, biting at guests, and overall did not listen to us. I have used several trainers who used treats to command the dog, but when the trainer left, same behaviors showed up. We were going to give up and accept that Twinkie is a lost cause and deal with her issues. A friend of ours raved about Brett so we decided to give it one more try. Within the first 2 meetings with Brett, Twinkie did a 180 from where she was at. We learned that it was the owners who are the problem and we were not doing our part as a dog owner. I sincerely doubt you'll find an Anchorage dog trainer who cares more about their profession and provides the level of expertise and care to customers as Brett. Anyone looking for Anchorage dog training should at least take a moment to check with Brett about his services and experience. After working with two prior trainers I had given up hope for my Alaskan Husky rescue to be able to recover from his reactions to other dogs and guests at the house. Brett did a great job in helping myself and my dog learn about reactivity, pulling on leash, and when/how to create a "place" for a dog who is frantic and cannot be calm for very long.
