Today, the groomer Keri tells the cashier/manager that a dog she was grooming did not like her. This concerned me as my dog has been dreading walking in their door and wanting to run out. She use to walk in tail wagging and happy. I said please talk nice to my baby and be gentle. She is a sweet sensitive lover. Because they were so busy with bunches of dogs last time, I just had her get a bath instead of a cut. So, her hair was longer, but brushes out super easy with a Wet brand brush. Later I get a call from the groomer, saying the comb she uses was not getting her knots out easy and proceeded to tell me that she gave her a short skirt, but that "hair grows". I get there and she is butchered with her privates shaved where I have never seen anything like it and she has skin showing at her eye area with the aggressive action. I feel terrible for leaving her in the hands of this abuse and torture chamber. Before I knew the extent of her bad cut, I asked for a bow and was told by the owner that only comes with VIP service. I said, I thought I had VIP service. She looked at my card, and said November was the last time. I paid 90.00 for my 25lb dog and had no idea they took that off my service. I gave a 15% tip too which is lower then I normally do, and regret any tip. -- Meanwhile, the owner reluctantly gave me a .20 cent bow for Oriental Trading Company. And, I was in shock as I left and vowed to never go back or buy any of their food, snacks, toys or grooming again. Cape Coral seems to have better options then Punta Gorda on everything. Their hair was choppy, uneven, especially around the face, one side was longer than the other. Under their chins it was very uneven. Wanted the bear cut face but it was very choppy. I had said I wanted a puppy cut, round face, sanitary areas, nails, bath, trim. We most likely could have pointed this out and she would have redone them but we didn't have the time. We will try another place. But they are very nice people.

Worse experience with a groomer I ever had. When I picked up my pup had to take him directly to…read morethe vets (2 visits). We thought they had blinded him. I brought his vet prescribed shampoo in with me. Supposedly they got it in his eyes and he scratched at this eyes, so this whole incident was my fault and his even thought he was in their care, a supposed professional groomer. The shampoo was expired so they had decided it was tainted, therefore caused the damage to his eyes. I have been trying to get reimbured for the vet visits and the groom, but now they are ghosting me. This incident happed in December 2021. UPDATE !! Just heard from this groomer (some male) who says they are NOT reimbursing me because of my review. Keep in mind this happened December 15th 2021. I think I've been more than patient and I dont believe they ever intended to reimburse me.

We pay good money to have him groomed plus a generous tip and should not be sworn at and called every minute for 15 mins because she had to leave. There are many groomers in this area. Plus she hardly answers her phone and her voicemail is always full. We waited several days to reach her. Loyalty gets you nowhere.
