Have been using Adorable Dogs for boarding our two Brittanies for a couple years now. The folks at AD are very friendly and accommodating when we had to leave them there a few extra days over the Christmas holidays in 2023 due to flight cancellations. They also allowed us to drop them off early before their 8:00 opening which allowed us to get on the road for our latest trip. Their prices are quite reasonable and I feel very comfortable leaving our dogs there. They also have grooming services available which we plan to take advantage of in the future. read more

One star is one to many. They failed so bad. My Dog who is s senior dog was apparently sick but was not recognized by the staff. He lost 4 lbs out of 14 lbs but they didn't even realize it. They gave him a bath the day before I picked him up and she told me he was a little weak so she had to lay him Down. He could not get up or stand up by himself. When I took him to the Vet he sent me back there to find out some details about what happened but they couldn't tell me anything because she said there was nothing wrong. He was so dehydrated the first thing they did was give him fluids. It has been 2 weeks 2 different antibiotics and 3 blood tests and the Vet just told me he is going to be alright. It is going to take a long time for him to gain the weight back. All they had to do was call the Vet. I left all the info. Don't let this happen to your pet. read more

I am a snowbird in Punta Gorda FL and was unsure where to take my Havanese for a groom. A lady I met at a craft fair was there with her well groomed Havanese, I asked where she had her groomed. She told me about Adorable Dogs. What a find! My Havanese has never looked so good and smelled wonderful! Thank you, the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable! We moved to Punta Gorda, Fl in September 2020 and have been looking for a groomer for my very fussy Westie. He is an old dog and hates to be groomed. Not an aggressive dog, just don't like to be groomed. Two groomers couldn't handle him and was sent back before even getting shampooed. I was going to give up grooming but he was looking very bad. I was recommended by my neighbor who has an older dog to Adorable Dog Groomer and thought give them a try. Not only they were able to shampoo and groom him but when I picked him up, he almost didn't want to leave! They said how sweet he was and didn't have much of a problem. It was a miracle for me to hear that. Even though this place is a bit far, this is my go to groomer from now on. It's in a residential area and they also board dogs. The staff was so nice and caring. I immediately felt comforted leaving my dog. I really appreciated their expertise with a difficult dog like mine. Reasonably priced as well. They groomed him exactly the way I wanted. read more

I was told to drop my dog off between 8:30-10 to be groomed and that he would likely be there all day. I think it is too stressful on dogs to keep them there all day. Also, on my way to drop our dog off, I was called at 9am saying her groomer was still on vacation and she would call back to reschedule. I never received a call back. read more

They are the worst! I have tried them twice as a kennel and both times my dogs were bit all over by ants or something. There is no one there to check on the dogs after hours and on Sunday's Awful place to leave your pets. Awful!,,,,,, read more

Staff is always a pleasure to work with. Every time I have to go away for a business trip I can count on coming back home and picking up my dog and know he's been taken care of. This place is absolutely amazing. I have been through every grooming shop within a 30 mile radius and never has my dog looks so good. He's a bochon which is not an easy dog to groom add that to the fact that he was sorely overdue for a haircut so I was absolutely floored when I saw how beautiful he looked. I have owned my own grooming shops and taught dog grooming until I blew out my arm and couldn't do it anymore so needless to say I'm quite picky and this job was absolutely perfection. The grounds are lovely right on the lake they have grooming facilities and boarding which are both very reasonably priced and I can say right now honestly my dog will never go anywhere else. The people were friendly and professional and took care of him as if he was their own and I appreciated that above all. If anyone is looking for the best grooming shop in Lee Charlotte or Sarasota County this is it. I can't say enough good things about these people and if you are looking for boarding or grooming I recommend this place without any reservations. With the boarding they have a person on site 24 hours a day with Gates that allow the dog to go in or out as he pleases. If you're looking for the best look no farther. read more
