She is very thorough and I love that they work with the Mayo Clinic so you get top-notch care on every aspect of your health I've never sat more than 15 minutes in the waiting area. And when you get to check out, they are super helpful and help you set up your next appointment. I know there could be a waiting list to get in the Mayo Clinic primary care, but I highly suggest getting on that waiting list because it's the best type of car I've ever had in my entire life

So with that said it a dam shame their policy for Primary Care Doctors outside the hospital. They refuse to take Medicare parts A and B with an extra supplement. It's heartbreaking that no other hospital in Florida blocks their Medicare patients from receiving family health care. Shame on them. They recruit other Doctors from other hospitals that have patients for over 10 years and then will not accept these patients on Medicare even if they have been with that physician for over 10 years at that physician's previous family practice. . Leaving the patient to fend for itself, now they have to start a whole new relationship with someone else. Shame on the Mayo. The Mayo should at lease accept the patients that have been with the physician that's moving over, they are not new to their doctor and really not new to Mayo.

Unfortunately its 25 minutes after my appointment and I can still hear the patient speaking to the doctor next door. Very thin walls, questionable privacy....... Extremely disappointing experience. The doctors themselves have generally been fine, but dealing…read morewith the rest of this office has been incredibly frustrating. I recently found out that I have a brain tumor and naturally had questions and concerns. Instead of receiving reassurance and guidance, I was repeatedly passed between reception and phone staff and essentially told there was nothing they could do because the doctor was out of office for a week. Since the doctor was out, I could not see or speak with another doctor in the practice about the tumor because of their office policy. I was originally told that I would have to wait until he returned. After repeatedly pushing back, they somehow "found" an earlier appointment with him, despite repeatedly telling me he was unavailable. The doctor's assistant, Nancy, (I believe that was her name) was particularly unprofessional and dismissive. She repeatedly dismissed my concerns by telling me that the tumor was "no big deal" because it wasn't cancerous. I understand that it isn't a cancer diagnosis, but telling someone who has just learned they have a brain tumor that it's no big deal is incredibly insensitive and dismissive. I could not believe how many times she literally told me it wasn't serious and it wasn't a big deal. She had zero sympathy. She didn't have one kind thing to say. I understand that medical professionals deal with worse things than a tumor, but you really can't extend common human decency? It's completely unacceptable. I shouldn't have had to repeatedly push and advocate for myself just to receive basic communication and empathy. The doctors may be good, but the rest of my experience with this office was cold, dismissive, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this clinic.

Before scheduling the appointment, I made sure it was something they would be able to complete. I came with all required paperwork and the nurse returned the last few pages at the end of the visit, stating it was not required - I then found out it was and we had to bring it back into the office. The provider appeared unfamiliar with the requirements and was unable to correctly complete or sign the forms during the visit. I expected the provider to either have the knowledge necessary to complete it or to seek appropriate guidance if they were uncertain. The paperwork remained incomplete, which caused me weeks of delay (some because of the provider being out on PTO) and created stress and inconvenience. After she got back from PTO, I was asked to reschedule another visit. Which meant another copay and more of my time. I initially understood it would only take a few days. I did state "Do I need to show her where to sign?" to the lady on the phone because I was infuriated. I do apologize for the disrespect but seriously! I ended up finding another civilian provider who was able to complete it the day of visit! I have never had a medical experience like this and I am not usually a confrontational person but the communication between the team in the office is lacking. This was embarrassing! Patients should not experience delays or complications because a provider is unfamiliar with paperwork they are expected to complete. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am ever so grateful to her for helping me improve my health. The office staff are pleasant and the I love the in house phlebotomist as you are not required to go to another office for blood work. The office is usually busy and sometimes I have to wait a little longer than I would like. However, with new federal regulations requiring much more documentation from the medical staff I understand the wait time a little better than most. And I also appreciate that she does not rush me through the appointment. She takes time to listen to my health concerns and provides helpful medical advise. I plan to continue seeing Sandra Carr and would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and knowledgeable health care provider.
