Her knowledge was incredible and understanding. Couldn't have picked a better assistant. Mark and his son Hunter Taylor are the owner operators. They absolutely adore Military, Police, and Firefighters which is an absolute for me when picking a place to spend my hard earned money. They are top notch. The prices are far better than any place that I researched. Call and check, then check around. Seriously folks, this is the spot and Scuba is awesome. These folks showed us. 4 of us went back and took Advanced diver course and Rescue Diving just because we had a blast. Completely worth a try.

While you can shop online, visiting the store in Maumelle is even more fun. Walls full of everything swimming from googles to paddles and pull buoys. You'll also find t-shirts and swimmer jewelry for unique birthday gifts. The store also supports all the big swim events in the state and sells custom towels for major swim meets. However, I have not yet received my order nor any indication from shipper as to when to expect product or how to track it, or even verification that my order was received by them from Splashwear (SW) and is in progress. I called SW to check on this, as the initial confirmation of my order did not include a timeframe. They seem to not realize that a customer might expect this kind of information, even if the product is being shipped from someone other than themselves. SW acknowledged being a bit overwhelmed, even while priding themselves on being a very small company (and offered to research my order and get back to me) - good for them, and I wish them success, but am baffled as to why there is no standard provision in their procedures for this basic information, nor apparently an understanding why, lacking this information, a customer might feel as though their order has fallen into a black hole. Covid short-staffing possibilities at manufacturer/shipper may be a real factor - but the apparently-standard lack of information seems like it would be fixable, once SW realizes that basic customer expectation.

They were giving a presentation on owls when I was there. Very cute! There are also water fountains in and out of the center if you need. The views are pretty from the lookouts but nothing spectacular. The water you see is a gorgeous teal blue, which picnic tables near by. Dogs are everywhere too, all on leash! Not sure if unleashed dogs are allowed. This would have been a great hike in the fall with all the colors!
