Had fun. Great charcuterie & unlimited so take advantage. Order the chicken. The fish was bland and the vegetarian option comes with plain noodles & few vegetables.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a fun night. The show was really funny and captivating. Food was good too! Covid friendly with tables spread apart.

Let's get the logistics out of the way. Plenty of parking. Entrance is in the back (more on that). Dress is casual, but dressing up like 1920's gangsters would add to the fun. This place is great for groups or large families. Plan on spending about 3 hours for dinner and the show. Recommendation: Get there a little before 6:00 and line up at the back door (that is where the entrance is). At 6:00, use the big, brass knocker and knock on the door. Then, when Gloves comes to the door, whisper "I am here to make a deposit." "Gloves" is super fun, so play this up. No other spoilers so you can enjoy the show. Food. We had the steak, and it was delish! Perfectly done at medium rare and full of flavor. Loved the mixed vegetables and baked potato, too. The rolls and salad were average. Cocktails. Great selection of fun, themed cocktails. Look for "Al's Favorite" on the chalk board at the bar and on the top of the cocktail menu. All four drinks we had were great. Mugsy makes some good giggle juice. Service. EXCELLENT. The team is talented, and they work hard to serve you while putting on the show. They stayed in character the whole time, and the jokes were FANtastic! Finally. RELAX and ENJOY the show. I have not smiled and laughed that much since the Nate Betgatze show at Bridgestone at Christmas. Vito and his team are simply FABULOUS and FUN! This gets a MUST DO if in the Chicago area. Definitely a Siskel and Ebert "Two Thumbs Up." Now, make your reservation and get "the rest of the story" at Vito's Vault.

A live pianist plays popular Roarin' '20s hits on a gran piana. Vito hisself is a wunnerful host. We saw him assisting a customer in a wheelchair. A hoodlum he's not! Evidently da kitchen was short-staffed dat day, as some of our group had a long wait for entrees. But da food was delicious and duh comedy skits was hilarious. Later, Gloves was nowhere to be seen. I peeped into da kitchen and dere he was, wearin' yellow kitchen gloves and washin' dishes. I reckon dat's why dey call him "Gloves!"

This is surely one of Chicago's best-kept dining and entertainment secrets (it's in a rather…read moreobscure location). It's basically a cabaret - a combination of fine dining and interactive Cirque Du Soleil-style entertainment in an intimate setting. The elaborate décor will blow your mind. It's absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the food far surpassed typical dinner theatre fare. Each of the four courses was artfully plated, served at the proper temperature, and downright delicious. The goat cheese bell pepper scones app was more of an amuse bouche than a true course and no other bread was served (unless you order Parkerhouse rolls, an à la carte add-on that costs $16. Indeed!). After that, though, portions were ample. The bourbon peached glazed salmon entrée, plated with inventive side dishes, was perfection. Other à la carte dishes and entrée upgrades are available but no one in our party felt the need to order those. The service was impeccable. Variety acts were interspersed between courses - singers, dancers, a juggler, a comedian, an aerialist, and more. There was a lot of talent but it was comic actor Joe who stole the show, portraying several roles. Totally enjoyable and well worth the ticket price.

More like a showstopper of a dinner Our 4-course meal at Teatro Zinzanni Chicago was pure magic from the first bite to the final dessert. Each course felt like its own act, full of flavor, flair, and a little drama in all the best ways. Between the incredible food, the laughter, and the over-the-top performances, it was an experience you taste and feel. We started with warm, buttery rolls, upgraded to the rosemary fries (because how could we not?!), and skipped the salad to save room for the main event. For entrées, we had the salmon and the chicken both tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And then came dessert... we couldn't resist upgrading to the maple pumpkin cheesecake It was creamy, rich, and the perfect fall bite (not pictured, but definitely unforgettable). Vodka sodas kept us company all night long Between the laughs, the talent, the beautiful ambiance and perfect service, and the incredible food, it was one of those nights that felt like a standing ovation from start to finish.Because at Zinzanni, dinner isn't just served -- it's performed.

I was quite pleased with my experience from start to finish as this met my expectations at all levels. Parking here isn't super difficult, as there is parking on either side of the theater -- though not directly in front of the theater. Lines moved quickly and prices for concessions were not too bad, with a bit more than the usual options of food. Though I wish that there were washrooms for both genders on both ends of the theater, the theater itself is fortunately small enough that this isn't a huge issue even if you are in the theater furthest away from your restroom. In terms of seating, the recliners were super comfortable and generously sized. Even after watching a nearly 3 hour movie, I was completely relaxed and in no rush to get out of the seat. Previews for the movie did feel a bit shorter than normal (like around 10 minutes), so do make sure you show up close to show time. The audio and video quality was alright, though not the highest end that I've seen -- but also much better than expected given the pricing. Overall, it's worth going here if you live in the area. Despite the lower than normal pricing, you're getting a good quality experience without any real drawbacks. There's also a considerable number of dining options around the town center and around Milwaukee Avenue that are great to try after your movie.
