Though I haven't moved in YET, I am absolutely thrilled to see the unit in person. I am super hopeful. Naomi was on top of everything for me. She was up after hours and responded to all my emails even when it was close to midnight! Thank you Naomi for relieving this stress inducing search!!! I am so hopeful that the unit will be amazing when I get to tour it. The building itself is stunning and well maintained. They seem to do residential activities. They have a DOG PARK!!! A gym with a free weight barbell which was huge for me. They have a rooftop pool. Again, I am so hopeful that my unit will be perfect and in that case- Harwood flats has checked off almost every box for me that I've been carrying throughout my search. The ONE thing would be the parking fee. They charge $200 for garage parking and $150 for surface parking. Other than that, everything is amazing! All photos online looked identical to in person touring. The residents seem very respectful and the space just screams 'home is peace.' My agent was 6/5 AMAZING - so personable, so informative, so understanding, and so professional. Kayla was an amazing agent. I had an incident where I got overly lightheaded after standing up too quick after the seated consult with Kayla. The minute she noticed I dropped my phone and was losing consciousness- she stepped in with no hesitation and another worker at the Astrid came quick to stand by. With the chance of me falling being present, they were both ready to catch me. As soon as I regained consciousness, all I could think to do was apologize over and over again. They comforted me in a way that I'll never forget and I hope they know how grateful I am as someone who struggled with epilepsy for a few years. They both told me to stop apologizing and said it was completely okay and that there is nothing to worry about, Kayla was quick to get me a water. Kayla took initiative and continued the tour without making me feel different or odd, she kept it so lively even after that incident. She made me laugh and showed the space thoroughly and my feelings of guilt and embarrassment were subsided tremendously. Although it's been 2 years since my last epileptic incident- the trauma from the reoccurring incidents in the past definitely came to the surface. Thank you Kayla. I have lived here since 2020 and am coming up on three years at this property. Simpson has done a great job listening to the residents and making improvements to the community. They are always working to bring multiple food trucks in every week, well as hosting monthly resident events with free food and drinks--I love the Wine Down Wednesdays! They also started offering free group fitness classes in the gym, ranging from Pilates to bootcamps. They are always willing to listen to resident suggestions on how to make the community better, and they actually take action on these suggestions! The apartments are roomy with nice features, lots of wall outlets, and the maintenance team is always very fast and efficient. I enjoy living at this property and would recommend this as a place to live for prospective residents. The leasing team is incredibly friendly, the apartments are nice, and the community events are the cherry on top. I also love the large, gas grills and the community amenities in general. Tons of places to sit and enjoy the weather outside with friends!

If you look at my other reviews, you'll see that I've been touring numerous places and I reiterate that my search has steered because of personal circumstances but nonetheless, my new search remains. I came back into the Galvan to tour one or two one bedroom units with extremely high hopes, given how in love I fell with the previous unit (that's no longer for rent). My agent was just silent or short answered throughout the whole tour. She stepped out of the unit, didn't guide me along or make any suggestions. It flipped my view on the Galvan 360. The walk and elevator ride was complete silence I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We were going to tour the second unit but I just told her it was fine and that I didn't need to tour it. I remember thinking 'yeah this is totally not happening' and comparing that to the first time I had left the Galvan after my first tour when my thoughts were 'I love that place and I can totally see myself living here.' All in all- the lobby is lively along with the lounge areas. The elevator and hallways are a bit dimmed but nothing that I wouldn't have been able to get past. They have great units which really goes to show that the agent you have can impact your feeling of welcome and 'home' significantly. The Galvan is not a complete write off for me. I noticed a few negative comments here, but it's pretty clear they come from the same few people with personal issues. My experience was the opposite. My family and I have been residents of this complex for over two years now and to be honest, our…read morequality of life here has been poor, and that's putting it mildly. We have always owned our homes and decided to invest in other ventures and rent. We thought it would be an exciting change for us. Unfortunately, from day one we have had nothing but problems here. It started on moving day when another resident put his hands on our minor son and would not allow him to walk away from him, while my husband demanded for him to let him go. We nearly pressed charges against him but Sara Garcia, the property manager at the time, implored us not to do so. She was fantastic, by the way, and always tried to de-escalate problems. The very same day, there was someone smoking marijuana on the property and another resident complained to the office that they thought it was us. We also smelled it and this was beyond insulting. To further the insult, management (Carol Oser) wanted to do an inspection following that complaint on our first day here! What a way to welcome someone to the community! We soon noticed that there was suspicious activity in the parking lot after hours. We reported this so that it may be investigated. Our son was still a minor at the time and we did not want him to be exposed to such an environment. There were also several vehicle break ins, our truck being one of them. No action was taken to prevent further incidents. Then, because we were the newcomers, we were accused of not picking up after our two service dogs. Fortunately, we had noticed that the grounds were full of dog waste from day one and complained about it immediately to Sara, especially because one of our service dogs is handicapped and unstable on his legs. We did not want him accidentally stepping or falling into another dog's waste. It all just kept going downhill from there. There were a couple of office staffers, Sara and Ydiany, who were always accommodating and tried to smooth things over, but overall, the problems never got addressed and got worse, if anything. Things got progressively worse after Sara left. We have always felt targeted here. They even have us muzzle our service dogs (which is an ADA violation) simply because people are afraid of them and get anxious when they see them. No other dogs on the property are muzzled and they constantly instigate our dogs. We choose not to complain about such pettiness because it's not worth our time or breath, but apparently others aren't the same way and have nothing better to do than put in ridiculous complaints. Further, the insulation throughout the building is terrible. Every little thing can be heard through the walls/floors/ceiling. The upstairs resident is extremely inconsiderate and will stomp around her apartment at all hours of the day and night disturbing the peace and alarming our dogs. We have to play music to drown out her noise and keep the dogs calm. She has supposedly been warned by the office but continues to make excessive noise to this day. Then she has the audacity to complain about our music (which is always within county noise levels). I don't think we have had any real peace since moving here and can't wait to move out. I would not recommend living here.

She told me that she was not working at Millstone last year as using her name Tina on a recorded line. She hangs up the phone on me. Ms Oser pretended to be another person on the phone but all this time it was Carol Oser who was promoted on November 21 2024 from the Assistant Manager to the property manager at Millstone properties. She needs to be investigated.
