My family and I have been residents of this complex for over two years now and to be honest, our quality of life here has been poor, and that's putting it mildly. We have always owned our homes and decided to invest in other ventures and rent. We thought it would be an exciting change for us. Unfortunately, from day one we have had nothing but problems here. It started on moving day when another resident put his hands on our minor son and would not allow him to walk away from him, while my husband demanded for him to let him go. We nearly pressed charges against him but Sara Garcia, the property manager at the time, implored us not to do so. She was fantastic, by the way, and always tried to de-escalate problems. The very same day, there was someone smoking marijuana on the property and another resident complained to the office that they thought it was us. We also smelled it and this was beyond insulting. To further the insult, management (Carol Oser) wanted to do an inspection following that complaint on our first day here! What a way to welcome someone to the community! We soon noticed that there was suspicious activity in the parking lot after hours. We reported this so that it may be investigated. Our son was still a minor at the time and we did not want him to be exposed to such an environment. There were also several vehicle break ins, our truck being one of them. No action was taken to prevent further incidents. Then, because we were the newcomers, we were accused of not picking up after our two service dogs. Fortunately, we had noticed that the grounds were full of dog waste from day one and complained about it immediately to Sara, especially because one of our service dogs is handicapped and unstable on his legs. We did not want him accidentally stepping or falling into another dog's waste. It all just kept going downhill from there. There were a couple of office staffers, Sara and Ydiany, who were always accommodating and tried to smooth things over, but overall, the problems never got addressed and got worse, if anything. Things got progressively worse after Sara left. We have always felt targeted here. They even have us muzzle our service dogs (which is an ADA violation) simply because people are afraid of them and get anxious when they see them. No other dogs on the property are muzzled and they constantly instigate our dogs. We choose not to complain about such pettiness because it's not worth our time or breath, but apparently others aren't the same way and have nothing better to do than put in ridiculous complaints. Further, the insulation throughout the building is terrible. Every little thing can be heard through the walls/floors/ceiling. The upstairs resident is extremely inconsiderate and will stomp around her apartment at all hours of the day and night disturbing the peace and alarming our dogs. We have to play music to drown out her noise and keep the dogs calm. She has supposedly been warned by the office but continues to make excessive noise to this day. Then she has the audacity to complain about our music (which is always within county noise levels). I don't think we have had any real peace since moving here and can't wait to move out. I would not recommend living here. read more

On a recorded line Carol Oser who was promoted to Millstone property manager fabricated and stated her name was Tina on the phone. She also refuses to give me her Regional Manager name and phone however gave me a false email. I took it upon myself to call Buzzoto properties headquarters in Greenbelt Maryland. She was very abusive with a negative tone as she violated fair housing laws refuse to rent to certain protected classes. She told me that she was not working at Millstone last year as using her name Tina on a recorded line. She hangs up the phone on me. Ms Oser pretended to be another person on the phone but all this time it was Carol Oser who was promoted on November 21 2024 from the Assistant Manager to the property manager at Millstone properties. She needs to be investigated. read more

The community has been well-maintained for the last 15 years, but things have changed recently due to the management team. They refused to take packages from the major carriers when you have a business on the side gig. These incidents have been happening in the apartment complex for a long time. From the vehicle break-ins, marijuana smoke blowing out of apartments, building 13601, and the use of drugs behind the car garages near the dumpster. This is a non-smoking building and they allowed smokers to live there. The management team and residents were stalking or suspecting other residents in the parking lots. The office lacked cultural diversity because most staff hired women and no men ( not to mention the maintenance crew). Looking through the doorbell video app on the iPhone, a person was taking a video of a naked lady running in the hallway. You can ask those residents who have lived there for a long time, and you will hear the facts about this apartment complex. read more

This place is gorgeous!!! The amenities, the landscape, the beautiful details in every apartment, and the wonderful staff makes this place a dream...but I will say, you definitely pay for what you get. Did you know they have a non smoking building?! For someone who allergic to cigarette smoke, this is beyond expectations.. I was in the market for a basic 1 bedroom, but unfortunately this property did not have any vacancies for my specific need, otherwise I would have moved right in. Shanika, who is one of leasing agents, was fabulous..she was knowledgable, patient, and extremely professional! She was so good that I had to tell her to put me on the WAITING list for a 1 bedroom, in hopes of getting in here one day. Give them try..or at least take tour..you'll see exactly what I mean. Ask for Shanika, if she's available, because she is quite popular with the tenants.. read more

Update: The apartment is safe. In my pervious review, I mentioned about my valuables stolen, but that would be my mistake. The neighborhood is very quite and safe. Apartment living at it's best in Germantown. If you are someone who is looking for a perfect place to live, take a look at Millstone. Recently moved in here and I love this place. Very professional and friendly staff and tech savvy place. Yet to have the complete experience, still giving this a 5 star because of their professionalism and courtesy. Mike, Carly and Hannah ( only people I have met, and forgot the maintenance team lead..sorry!!) are very thorough & really need to be appreciated for their work. I am hoping to make this my new home. Overall the community has been fantastic. The people who work in the community have been very helpful and very nice. It is a very clean community and I have been happy up until now. However there have been several incidents of break-ins in cars and now I have been affected. I have a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette convertible and I was just awoken by the police department at 3 o'clock in the morning on a Friday night to let me know that someone has stolen The wheels and tires off of my car leaving my car on bricks. I am absolutely shocked by this crime that has been committed! I would have thought that the community would have taken precaution by hiring a nighttime security after the incidents before have been reported so that more incidences would not have happened. Now I am with a car sitting on bricks and missing my wheels and tires which is nearly a $6000 repair. As I said before it's a nice community but after this incident I'm not sure that I'll be living here much longer. read more

Home sweet home! Great location! Beautiful spacious apartment (high ceilings and granite countertops), responsive maintenance and extremely courteous and professional leasing team make Millstone at Kingsview a perfect place to live. If I wasn't moving out of the city, I would still be there but my two plus years were pleasant and I always felt safe & secure. So, 1 (ONE) tenant has their 9 year old car's wheels stolen and now management gives that one person a made up private parking spot that's not even a real spot (it takes 2 marked motorcycle spots and leaves the front of the car sticking out onto the road). The entitled tenant even has a security camera pointed at their prized 9 year old american car. How about giving EVERYONE a private spot with security cameras??? Wait, they can't do that since it's an apartment community. If anything happens to my car, the property management will pay for it. (I'll sue to make sure it happens, since I'm being treated differently and don't get a private spot where I can aim a camera at my car) So if you live there, the law suit door is open. If ANYTHING happens to your vehicle, sue the management company. One person was given a private spot once something happened to their car, so the precedent is set!!!! How about telling that person that stuff happens and to use their insurance. That's what everyone else would have to do! read more

This is an awesome place to live, great community and the staff are always extremely professional. If there is every an issue whether it's a maintenance issue or noisy dog the staff are always very quick to respond. I certainly feel taken care of there. The community is very respectful and the parking is never an issue. I also appreciate how well the grounds are kept and how often they are planting new flowers and plants. In the winter they work hard to clear the snow from the parking lot and walking paths, as well as salt the night before. The lobbies are always spotless and kept clean daily! Car break ins were an issue this summer but tenants were always reminded to lock their car doors and not to leave valuables in the car. I hardly blame the staff for the break ins since it's happening county wide. Overall I'd recommend living here! read more

After owning my home for almost 15 years the thought of renting seemed unfathomable as my last memories of renting made me flinch with bad memories of occurrences of petty theft, food being eating from my fridge while I'm away at work, shoddy repairs, rude rental office, etc.... and that all happend in another known Germantown community- which I won't name! The community here simply devine withe well appointed details such as, wood flooring, gorgeous wood modern cabinetry and granite countertops in the kitchens and bathrooms all complete with pantries and linen closets. All the finery you'd have in a home you'd appoint in a home you would pay for are found here at Millstone at Kingsview...oh and I almost forgot to mention the perks of the office receiving your packages and being able to view your notifications on the large screen monitors found in each building, modern exercise room, small but clean sparkling pool and gorgeous landscaped property although in front of my building the dog owners let their rotten mutts pee the life away from the grass directly in the front of the building. I've heard of thefts on cars as of late however that was has been happening all over the DMV and I experienced this when I was buying my house and that isn't in no way any reflection of management as surely they're not able to babysit cars in the lots...we can only be vigilant by looking out and reporting any suspicious persons or incidents to the cops! Last but not least the care crew here are Top Flight the folks who are due the most commendation are the ones who keep this place in tip top working condition! The housekeeping servicemen/women keep this place super clean daily! The maitence technicians Jose and Marlon are the Best of the Best! They're respectful, competent and ladies you can feel comfortable as these men keep their eyes on their work keep it professional at all times!!!! Ok, one last tid bit; bring heavy cash when you consider moving here as Mr. Bozzuto ain't no cheap thrill! read more

Amazing place!!!!!!I have lived in this community for the past 4 years. I had another stellar experience with the management last night and wondered how come I haven't written a great review yet after all these years. So here goes. I highly recommend this community. I've never had any problems at all. It is an amazing place to live. The grounds are kept tidy at all times. The apartment itself is classy and well designed. Management is very responsive. I honestly regret moving here from the Gables. The maintenance staff is by far the best thing about this community. From the vehicle break-ins, marijuana smoke billowing out of apartments, cars being egged to the random kids riding hover boards in the fitness center while you're trying to work out I can't WAIT to move. I was also swindled out of another months rent, Just come through the complex after the office closes and ask around and you will hear the real truth about this place. read more

Millstone at Kingsview is absolutely GORGEOUS! My husband and I viewed it last week and we loved the community as well as the staff. Mike Martinko is the BEST leasing consultant/sales associate we have ever met. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and he didn't rush us at all.
