The Dapper Dog is simply the best! Our dog, Duo, loves visiting for her appointments. The customer service is phenomenal. They always go above and beyond while giving the fur babies so much love. I always feel comfortable leaving Duo knowing she is safe and well cared for there. It's so much fun seeing her excitement when picking her up too. They do great work! Thank you Dapper Dog! read more

From the Business

Specialties

We've grown into a full-service daytime pet care destination offering The Dapper Dog Social Club (daycare), The Dapper Dog Training Academy (group classes & private training) and our long-loved Grooming Salon. Three pillars, one pup-scale standard.

History

Established in 2015.

Founded in 2015, The Dapper Dog has grown from humble beginnings into a premier pet care service provider in Harrisburg. The idea was born out of a simple need for convenience and quality pet grooming. Our founder, Danaise, moved to Harrisburg with her husband Matt and their beloved dogs in 2014, and after struggling to find a local groomer, she decided to take matters into her own hands. With no prior grooming experience but a strong determination, she embarked on a journey that would change her life and the lives of countless pets and their owners.

She answered all of my questions. I have so much comfort leaving my pup for a few days knowing he will be well taken care of. The communication was great as well as the follow up to my questions. Greatly appreciate it. Also we do classes here as well for training and it's been great to come and learn new things with my pup, bond with him and work on basic concepts for me and my pup to thrive and work on together. They have so much to offer and we've only scratched the surface so hopefully we ll learn more like their pool training soon in the near future.

The minute we pulled into the parking lot they went nuts. They ran straight to the door, leash and all, we opened it and they went into the office and to the gate that led to the kennels. I miss my boxers terribly, but I now weigh a lot less and so when the last one died of old age, I got a chewing which can come along. Helga Szameit

Shame.

This service was absolutely wonderful!…read more They were so sweet and very easy to talk to as we had multiple lovely conversations as they cleaned! Their love for animals made me so happy as well as their cleaning products being pet friendly which is something not everyone thinks about but it's very important for your fur babies! Our house after the deep clean was sparkling clean! I could almost see my reflection on our kitchen counters (which is cleaner now then when we bought the house). I did not realise how bad our sink was until they cleaned it and it looks brand new we were both so shocked!! Having a 75lb lab/collie mix he sheds alot of fur.....I mean...alot. even with just my hands I pick up a handful because he runs around house alot and it sheds off in his room. The family room(with dark purple couch in images) is my dogs room which ends up by the end if week being covered in fur and they were able to clean it up amazingly! They knew that my boyfriends family is coming to stay from states away for the holidays and their all allergic to cats. I have a cat that loves being on couch. Knowing that, they took every single cushion off and vacuumed all over and inbetween every crack of couch to get rid of the fur I appreciate it so so much! (We have a 9 seat sectional) I definitely recommend them! You wont regret it, it feels like I'm in a whole new house
