She did a nice flexibility class at 5:30pm with the encouragement of using different props I got a nice stretch. There are no smells allowed. I enjoy essential oil during yoga but that's okay! The instructors are very talented, many with over 10 years of experience. There is a broad range of classes offered (from slow Bob's slow moving yoga to Michele's vigorous flow) with many different time slots available to attend. The space is clean, bright, and located in the heart of downtown. The honor system at YBD extends far and wide: all donations are made anonymously and there are no suggested fees. What a gift to the community!!! (Not to mention, an example of the true spirit of yoga). I hope patrons continue to donate what they can so that the doors of YBD can stay open for a very long time to come.

Hayes has an innate sense of understanding of the body and trauma. More importantly, he gives a great individualized approach to gaining strength and balance, reducing pain, and restoring confidence. He always has some new and exciting therapies and/or exercises that seem to both challenge and build my balance and strength. The center itself is also a fitness center, complete with a therapy pool. Not the type for laps, but the type for aquatic exercise. There is a plethora of equipment to use, from free weights and Cybex to stationary bikes and treadmills.

I didn't know what this was, but after finishing, I know I would not like to do it again. on my intake form, I said I would like my neck and back focused on. I even mentioned a problem spot on my back, but in the 15 minutes spent on my back, it was not addressed. After the massage we went to Flote for our first time, very cool experience!
