The procedure included an upper blepharoplasty, platysmaplasty of my neck, and SMAS facelift. In addition, I underwent an CO2 laser treatment. Prior to these procedures. I had a meeting with another plastic surgeon in Del mar, California. His estimate was startling and well beyond what I could afford. I then went to see Dr. Lichtenberger and he explained to me that I didn't need to undergo unnecessary procedures to get what I was looking for. Instead, he felt that I could attain a natural look and that's exactly what he did for me at a reasonable cost. The office staff at Life Aesthetic Center, including Erin, Debbie and Dana, made me feel so much at home and so comfortable while undergoing the initial consultation, the preoperative appointment and finally the procedure and follow-up appointments, putting me at ease with lots of great information. Dr. Lichtenberger is one of the most sincere, patient and truly caring people I have ever met. He is an outstanding listener, and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. Despite my nervousness prior to the procedures, he said that was normal and on the day of my procedures, he put me at ease the entire time. His surgical staff was also top-notch and I am grateful to them as well. We here in Bellingham are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lichtenberger in our community. Since then, she has had 4 different locations and I am still loyal to her as ever. I cannot say anything negative about this amazing woman. She is an incredible esthetician with lots of knowledge and skills. I have gotten facials since I was 14 and she is the best esthetician I have had the pleasure of meeting. When I first saw her, I had moderate cystic-like acne and active acne with multiple breakouts per month. Just after few months of treatment (1-2x a month facials), my acne was less severe, scars were less noticeable, and I started breaking out less. Fast forward 2 years, I started getting compliments on my complexion from strangers. Now, I break out only when I eat certain foods (milk chocolate, french fries, pizza) or around my period. So ever since then, I have been on her appointment book once a month for the past 4 years. Wow. That's crazy but I am so thankful that I have found Dagmar! Her prices are very fair as well. She is also known for eyelash extensions, reiki (energy healing - has done a lot of incredible work on me!), and electrolysis. She is always booked out weeks so make sure you make an appointment right after you're finished with your session. I got some good tips on how to continue a skin care routine at home, and brought a few products home with me that I'm excited to use. She said that it was required by my insurance. I immediately called my insurance where they told me it was not a requirement I even had the insurance rep call Brenda. When the insurance lady called me back she was stunned how Brenda was acting even though she explained to her that a year of documentation was not a requirement. I sincerely hope that the doctors know what a disservice this woman is doing for their business. I have read other reviews that are not good. I will not only not be going to this office but I will tell everyone I know what a bad experience I had.

You also need a $100 consultation appointment that does NOT go towards the actual appointment which you will need to schedule for a different day. I have never heard of a consult fee not going towards the actual appointment and needing to come on a completely different day to get basic neurotoxin, which takes all of 10 minutes max.
