It's not self-propelled but it's not heavy and the Tandem Air suction nicely pulls it along. After 15 years of a bagless top of the line vacuum, I was surprised at the benefits of a bagged vacuum - no more spilling the contents of the cup when emptying it, no more leaks between parts spewing dust particles. I had not heard of Riccar before but Brian, Taylor, & Keith showed me the video of the factory in Missouri and the machine they themselves made. Since the machines are made in small batches, I had to wait for 2 weeks for my machine. In the meantime, they had a loaner Miele that they let me use. The warranty/maintenance plan on the Riccar is top notch. Made in America, great machine, great warranty, and above all FIRST RATE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We had been having issues with being able to fill up our jetted tub without running out of hot…read morewater and also taking more than 2 showers back-to-back. I was also having to drain the tank about once a year and replace the bottom element as our house did not have a softener when we moved in, so it had a lot of calcium carbonate in the bottom. I called Bob Garret Services for an estimate about a new hot water heater with a mixing valve. Never knew that a mixing valve can increase your hot water volume by over 50%. Lawrence Hancock came over, checked everything out, and gave me a quote. He was very detailed in explaining things and low-pressure (no pun intended), and obviously very intelligent. Even though the cost was a bit surprising, I decided to go for it as this was the best water heater on the market. Lawrence came over the next day with new water heater, mixing valve, and thermal expansion tank (needed for to prevent pressure buildup in closed plumbing system and protect the well pump). He got everything installed, not to mention re-plumbing a few questionable joints on my water softener, anchoring some existing copper pipes to the block wall, both at no extra charge. Here's the kicker...not only can my wife use her jacuzzi now, but we have increased water pressure AND our 2-year-old water softener is working MUCH better. I'm extremely satisfied with Bob Garrett Service, not to mention with Lawrence especially. Great job guys. One less thing to worry about now.
