I cannot believe Stihl authorizes these people to service their equipment. Maybe Stihl does not…read moreknow how they treat people and their equipment. Well, they will very soon. My mother-in-law took her Stihl blower in to have the primer bulb replaced. That was all it needed. That was all she wanted done. What they did to her blower was criminal. Not only did they not replace the primer bulb as she had ask, they broke the throttle lever off the carburetor when they dis-assembled it. Why they dis-assembled her blower to replace an easily accessible primer bulb is beyond any conceivable explanation or understanding. When she went in to pick up her blower after being told it was ready, she was handed a bag of parts, and a bill for fifty some dollars. They had the nerve to tell her (after they broke the carburetor) it needed a new carburetor, and it was going to cost as much to repair the blower as it would be to purchase a new one. Then they charged her fifty some dollars for their "fine" service. All it needed was a primer bulb! You can see in the attached photo the condition in which they returned her blower. If legible, the broken throttle lever pieces are circled in the photo. Unbelievable!!! Had this happened to me, these people would be in court making reparations for the damage they caused. This is truly criminal taking advantage of a person in this manner. If I heard one day someone burned them out, I just might have to smile.

I purchased a Riccar R30D and I love it! It's not self-propelled but it's not heavy and the Tandem Air suction nicely pulls it along. After 15 years of a bagless top of the line vacuum, I was surprised at the benefits of a bagged vacuum - no more spilling the contents of the cup when emptying it, no more leaks between parts spewing dust particles. I had not heard of Riccar before but Brian, Taylor, & Keith showed me the video of the factory in Missouri and the machine they themselves made. Since the machines are made in small batches, I had to wait for 2 weeks for my machine. In the meantime, they had a loaner Miele that they let me use. The warranty/maintenance plan on the Riccar is top notch. Made in America, great machine, great warranty, and above all FIRST RATE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
