This is a great little jewelry shop. It's a local business run by a cute couple that work great…read moretogether - which means they have a great vibe that provides a welcoming environment for their customers. I came in to have a ring sized and I ended up buying rings for almost every finger. Their prices are amazing and I just couldn't resist. They have a great little selection of both gold and silver rings with all kinds of different stones. They also had some other little treasures, which I - of course, took advantage of. I got a tiny Krementz brooch which ended up being my downfall because I came back a few days later to get some vintage/retro sterling silver brooches. The lady gave a little history on some of the rare items - so it made the purchase even more special. So all in all, great vibe, fair prices on both inventory and jewelry repair, and......purchases made there support the local community. Love this place. Highly recommend!

I popped in thinking I would just look at the shinies and not get anything. I was so wrong. The owners are wonderful and friendly and showed me lovely pieces, all reasonably priced. I found a fun moonstone ring, a pendant set with a large citrine and small amethyst, and a pair of green amethyst earrings (same color as the citrine). Then I saw the tiny ring in the middle - a beautiful Edwardian setting with a clear white topaz. The owner said "I love that piece, we've had that forever and it never fits anyone." I tried it on and it fit perfectly. She said, "that is beautiful on you, make me an offer on it." I did, she said "done"! The stones don't show well in the photo but they are all clear and have lovely sparkle. I even went back to get a necklace for the pendant.

Kay Jewelers - Very pretty ring that I managed to get a pic of before we had to run out.

We didn't end up buying anything because my fiancé ended up having a seizure so we had to leave quickly, but Jasmine was still very sweet and helpful. She brought us out a water bottle which was very helpful because we didn't have quick access to any. Afterwards I called back to let them know I appreciated their help, and ended up hanging up before she could tell me something so she actually called me back (twice cause I ignored the first one) and said her manger wanted to tell us if we called before we came back in that they would dim the lights to make it easier on her It was a very nice encounter despite our complications and I would definitely go back and recommend it to others!

When I arrived I was told to ask for Kristin- I think she is supposed To be the manager. We stood there a good 5 minutes before she came out of the back room. She was very short with us . Didn't want to show me anything and told me I needed to shop around. She sent me to another kays 1 hour away. Telling us they has the 2 Kt. Nope! Wasted trip. With this being said. We have always shopped at Kay's in Danville. But kays has lost our business. Martinsville kays need to find a manager that there to help the customers! Wow what a disappointment!
