She brought the in-house jeweler to see what he could do to repair what the other shop had had done. AmRhein's jeweler listened to my concerns, examined my finger size and shape (older with arthritic knuckles) and asked about my daily activities (). I popped in thinking I would just look at the shinies and not get anything. I was so wrong. The owners are wonderful and friendly and showed me lovely pieces, all reasonably priced. I found a fun moonstone ring, a pendant set with a large citrine and small amethyst, and a pair of green amethyst earrings (same color as the citrine). Then I saw the tiny ring in the middle - a beautiful Edwardian setting with a clear white topaz. The owner said "I love that piece, we've had that forever and it never fits anyone." I tried it on and it fit perfectly. She said, "that is beautiful on you, make me an offer on it." I did, she said "done"! The stones don't show well in the photo but they are all clear and have lovely sparkle. I even went back to get a necklace for the pendant.
