Stopped in and dealt with the man himself and even though he didn't have familiarity with my specific weapons he said give him a day and he'd have them ready...A little over 3 hours later I get a call to come pick up my weapons... If you have never visited this business, save yourself the trouble and unprofessionalism. Don't. A…read moremonth or so ago, I had a good friend of mine visit the shop to get a few of his pistol parts cerakoted and an optic mounted onto his slide. He had placed the cerakote order a week before getting the optic mounted. As the story goes, the typical owner was out of town when he went to get his optic mounted. The fill in guy, when mounting the optic, accidentally scratched the new finish on the top of the optic using a T handle screwdriver. My buddy had realized the accident after leaving that day. So, he called the shop back to see how it could be handled, hoping to get a minimum deal on the cerakote/ an apology. He did not. The fill in said to call back once the owner got into town and when he did he was met with a swift rude attitude. Instead of "hey man, I heard what had happened, I'm sorry, let's figure out how to make this right" he was met with " yeah, what do you want? A new optic?". The shop owner did order him a new optic and when it came in he was still acting like a total prick instead of treating my buddy like a human being. In the end, shop owner was out $400 and refused to cerakote the original parts that was agreed upon. I just feel as if the situation could have been handled differently considering it was an accident. Hostile attitude was unnecessary.

I called and was told the wait was about 3 months and that I could bring my furniture. I had a particular fabric pattern and colors in mind for the reupholstery, but I was told that I could select from fabric at the location. Upon my arrival I was met by the owner, LeRoyal, who would also be doing the work. He evaluated my ottoman and gave me a quote detailing the work to be done. My 8-year-old niece was with me and it was around closing time, so I'm sure he was exhausted, but he took time and interest to share the history of his beginnings from his service in the US Army to the honing of his craft. We got to see a section of his workroom where transformations happen; where furniture gets a makeover and becomes revitalized; where antiques and heirlooms and favorites are refurbished and reconditioned to carry on their purposes and have a chance at being passed on for many years. LeRoyal has provided service for prominent figures of US and local government, celebrities, dignitaries, community and neighborhood people. And he's yielded the same level of quality service to all. Much of his business comes from "word of mouth" - not reviews. Certainly, anyone who sees his finished products would highly recommend him. I too recommend LeRoyal, for his detailed work and integrity. It is said that 'Your gift will make room for you', and certainly, his gift has resulted in a thriving business for over 50 years. That, along with his expertise, craftsmanship and results, speaks volumes and is the type of 'review' worth my investment.
