Thankfully, I found Mark on Yelp and figured I'd give his services a try. He works out of his home, so don't be put off by the suburban location. He's offers a fantastic service that is excellently priced (cheapest around). Give Mark a shot and you won't be disappointed!

He straightened out one small knife we used to pry open a jar that bent the tip. Most of our knives a high-quality that have gotten dull from years of use. these are all razor-sharp and polished to a professional sheen in about 30 minutes. Joshua is courteous and pleasant. I have had other sharpeners get judgmental about the condition of our knives as if they were going to report me to the Society for the Prevnruion of Cruelty to Cutlery. Over the past few months I walked by his setup thinking "I really ought to try this guy", but keep stalling. I should have stopped. After getting the shaft from Joe's crappy lawnmower shop (never go there), i called The Lawnmower Man. He suggested Vaughn's. I wouldn't have thought about this place because its all the way in Kenner (the worst part about the place) I called Vaughns and spoke to Courtney. She was friggin awesome. She took my model number, looked up the part, said it was in stock. I asked for the part number so when I came there, it would easier to find. She said "Just tell me your name and I'll hold it for you." Was that anything extremely above and beyond, not really, but definitely the definiton of customer satisfaction. I went, picked up the part without and problems whatsoever, and I was gone in 30 seconds. Thank you Courtney, you and Vaughns are the best.

This is America; you sell a part, it breaks or is defective, its the business's job to send it back to their supplier. The counter person said "they have been doing this for a long time and have NEVER seen a defective part. I call hogwash on that. I am a retired Navy mechanic that has worked on everything from small engines & diesels to multi-million dollar jet powered support equipment and I HAVE seen my share of defective parts. Oh- they did offer to "look at my mower" but that's just a way for them to make more money off of you and try to find more wrong with your equipment and blame the operator or equipment for failure. Go to Pauli's Lawn Equipment; much better service and Danny not only works the counter, he works on equipment. Crank was straight so didn't bring back so you guys to tell me same and charge me for something else. The fact you wouldn't stand behind your product speaks volumes.... Thanks for at least the friendly counter service before I purchased the bunk part, that's why I at least gave two stars.

Unfortunately, my wife's engagement and wedding rings had been badly damaged by another jeweler, and we weren't sure if they could be repaired or would need to be completely remade. From start to finish, our experience was outstanding. The team was professional, caring, and incredibly skilled. The pricing was very fair, and we left our rings feeling hopeful. When we returned to pick them up, Allie assisted us and was just as warm and friendly as Amanda. Not only did they replace a missing diamond and polish my ring, but they beautifully restored my wife's rings -- they now look as good as, if not better than, the day we got married. Aucoin Hart has absolutely earned our loyalty. I highly recommend them -- go experience it for yourself!
