They also had a downtempo EDM soundtrack while I was getting my treatment! Like a lot of Miamians, the cold weather (and friends who got sick) hit me hard. Although I work out and eat healthy, I was recently hit with the runny nose and sore throat. I needed an extra boost to recover and get well, so I found this Elixr clinic just off the 36th Street Causeway (close to Wynwood). I was told they have other locations in Brickell and Ft Lauderdale. I called and was able to get an appointment almost immediately. Kristina my nurse was helpful in asking my symptoms to get the appropriate IV & supplements. She also has great hands; I barely felt the needle! My IV took about half hour, and I hardly noticed the time in their office setting (ie instead of a hospital aesthetic.) I'd certainly recommend!

Each time I visited either it be for acupuncture with Emily or sinusitis with Chris or an IV drip with an amazing B12 complex solution with additional minerals to boost my immune against covid-19 I was treated with warmth, compassion and concern. It's how they role, everyone is treated and not rushed (even though they can get super busy) they always make time for me and my girlfriend. When I walk in I'm always met with a smile, positive vibe and hello by the staff --feels like I'm in a small town clinic, so anti-Miami Beach. Emily with her patent horn rimmed glasses is a genuine straight shooter anti-establishment life liberty fireball, Chris is simply a savant in his area of expertise and it's very broad spectrum folks. I like the fact they will consult with one another over different symptoms and diagnosis. They are not about western medicine prescribing meds they are about healing/fixing the problem that causes the issues to begin with. You've got two very smart, attuned people who love to solve the reason for your visit so you don't have to come back or if you do it's because you are getting results. Sometimes meds are necessary but when you enter Emily's patient room you are can instantly feel the positive energy surrounded by a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay, hundreds of healing crystals and an extensive library on alternative medicine with a focus on Chinese medicine. If I could I would give them a 6th star for being genuine healers (and no I did not receive anything for this review). A small way of me showing my appreciation and a big thank you!!

I was referred to Doctors Emily and Chris (both are MD's) 8 years ago- and have never looked back!…read more I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in both knees in 2015, preventing me from walking without significant pain. When Baptist Hospital's top sports medicine surgeon told me there was nothing he could do, I turned to Emily for regular acupuncture treatments. I soon was able to get back to running as much as I wanted and am able to compete in at least 5 half marathons each year...completely pain free. However, what is even more amazing about Emily and Chris's practice is the thoughtful and holistic view they take toward solving medical issues. Their keen intellect, curiously and creative thinking skills allowed them to help me solve mysterious neurological issues (in 2020) and throat issues (2023) that no other doctor (primary care, urgent care, ENT, immunologist, neurosurgeoun, emergency room) could figure out. My only mistake was not going to Emily and Chris first- rather than wasting precious time and money on traditional medicine doctors who weren't able to think "outside of their own box". Utilizing cutting edge testing protocols, almost exclusively natural supplement regimens and a relentless drive to figure out the true root causes of my medical issues (they are truly "medical detectives"), Emily and Chris worked wonders to bring me back to full health. The name of their practice could not be more apt: if you're looking for "comprehensive wellness", I can't imagine any other place to start. I refer friends regularly to MBCWC- and can't recommend Emily, Chris and their wonderfully caring staff enough. Best wishes and good health to all!
