We went on a Friday night, it was kind tough to find parking. Every table was full, with folks still waiting for a table when we got there. Pros: Good prices. The equipment was well kept and seemed new. Drinks and food were cheap. Cons: it was HOT in there. I was sweating. Bathroom looked clean but very smelly. 30 min wait for a table. Music- they dont have touchtunes, they use an app called AMI play and it was terrible. Someone was bumping really bad EDM, nobody wants to hear that. read more

Note that they are cash only! The cue sticks are by the wall. You bring back the balls once you're done and ready to pay. They have restrooms inside, not sure how clean they are. This night group age ranged from mostly young 20's to ac few 50+ year olds. Restrooms are limited one per gender. There's 2hr limited street parking but also a private parking lot available. Food is typical bar food; burgers, hot dogs, wings, fries, etc. Costumer service is a hit or miss, I guess depending on the crowds vibe. Overall fun place. Hello, this is my first time writing a review but only because it was really bad and personally I think, dangerous. It was a fun place, cheap, all equipment was good, nothing crazy. Me and my friends were having fun but we noticed it was really hot. The food was ok, one of my friends got a hotdog for 2.50. He said it was ok. If the story had ended there I would've been ok with this place but when we go to pay, it turns out they gave my friends id to someone else. No discount or anything or even apology. We asked and they had said that it happens all the time and that usually the people call them back but who knows how long that'll take. This has never happened at any poll hall I went to ever and it's the first time I come here. After all these decades I finally stopped by this place with a neighbor to shoot some pool on a Tuesday night. This place has been a staple of Alhambra for decades but I don't know what year it opened. It was pretty busy too which surprised me but we didn't have to wait for a table. It will cost you 16 bucks an hour for two players which isn't too bad for some entertainment. The beers are a bit pricey but you can get a pitcher of beer for 24 bucks which will end up being a better deal than buying individual glasses. It's a nice chill ambiance with friendly patrons and workers. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no liquid soap in the restroom. When we left at 930pm more people were coming in - they stay open until 200am. read more

I've been here a few times now and the service is always friendly. It's a decent place to play and hang out with friends in a chill classic pool hall environment. The rates are slightly higher than most places for a single shooter, but with two or more, they ate pretty much even with other places across town. The tables are in decent condition, but some of them have been "well-loved." During the daytime there is ample room between tables. When it's more crowded, I imagine it's about on power with every other place I've ever played. The pricing is supposed to be determined by how long you stay and how many people are at a table and playing with you, but it seems like they don't really keep track of that. We had a fairly large group and ended up playing one game and it cost a total of $30. Not bad if you divided up between everyone, but we were expecting the price to be about 20, so the way they get their total is kind of shady. I used to love coming here but it is such a rip off!! Been playing here since High School but sucks to say that my visits will be less if not no more. $12 an hr, but I played for 1 hr and 25 minutes and still got charged $26!! I rented out a table for an hour ( I started the countdown I time on my Apple Watch) At exactly the hour I went up to turn in the rack of balls and get my ID back . I handed him a 20 ( this is where I messed up. I did not ask what the total was. Even though I played for exactly an hour and I knew it was $15 an hour. I still should've asked him what the total was ) So, after I handed him the $20 bill, he hands me back ONE DOLLAR BILLS. When I counted my change in front of him, he only gave me four dollars. I asked him he only gave me four dollars I missing one dollar. He proceeds to tell me, " oh it's because you went over the hour " I said , " NO I DIDN'T " He then opens his cash register, and hands me the dollar. you can tell he has been doing this for quite some time now, he was so comfortable and so unashamed. I am definitely not coming back here and giving them my business. I will also be putting a complaint on BBB (better Business Bureau) I will also be contacting ROB BONTA ( attorney general ) with customer complaint regarding this incident. It's a fun place to spend an hour or two with friends, shoot some pool, host an event. They've got 20 pool tables and fast food/beer. In terms of pricing, I think it's fair. It's cheaper if you go earlier in the day. They charge per hour so just make sure you set a timer or keep an eye on the clock! Tbh I don't know much about pool tables but these ones do look a little worn down and the cues are a little on the older side. It's all still very functional so I guess you can't really complain?? You can tell The Cue Ball is a lil on the older side and I can't ever tell what they're going for with their music choices (it ranges from country to silence). This is a pretty clean pool hall with a good amount of tables! They have separate gender restrooms in the back. They only serve beer for alcohol choice. They have a decent menu and the waitress that goes around all the tables is very nice! I have been here every day this week to play pool. It was busier on a Monday night than on a Sunday night. Saturday is packed and Friday is pretty busy as well. They have a jukebox but they don't play music unless someone pays to play music in the jukebox.
