The food, especially the Shepherds Pie and the steak, were perfectly cooked and delicious. The location itself was wonderful, cosy and sweet on the inside and also the outside area was beautiful. And finally, of course the owner and statt members were were friendly, helping us having a wonderful afternoon. I will come back for sure whenever I'll be around!

It is part of the Thai Group (thaigrooup.co.uk) of British restaurants serving authentic Thai food in the UK. It is also very delicious. We have another Thai restaurant in Wallingford, but I don't think the food compares. Thai Orchid's food was by far tastier. Plus, I asked for something not on the menu and the chef complied. It was extremely clean, and service was fast and genial. I have to admit the other Thai place is preferred by the locals and is usually busy, and we have been asked to come back another day. If that happens to you, just walk over the bridge and go to Thai Orchid. I feel lucky to have the choice of two Thai restaurants close to me, but given the choice between the two, I'd go to Thai Orchid every time. Also, its exact address is: 72 The Street
