    Wi-fi Network "Crossroads_Inn"
    Jay M.

The Crossroads Inn has all of the basic accommodations and amenities you may need during your stay on base. Parking is available around the entire building. Elevators and the staircase are accessible on all floors. Breakfast is offered every morning. AMENITIES: My standard room ($92 rate) came with x2 twin beds, a sofa chair, an air conditioning unit, a trash bin, a flatscreen TV on top of a cabinet with three drawers, a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with complementary coffee, a desk with a built-in outlet and x2 USB charging ports, a desk lamp, a floor lamp, a nightstand with a lamp that has x2 built-in outlets, a telephone, x4 separate wall outlets, towels, and complementary bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.), a box of tissues. Wi-fi is accessible from all rooms; just connect to the "Crossroads_Inn" network. There's a laundromat in the lodge and vending machines scattered around the facility. NEARBY ON-BASE DESTINATIONS: Please note the time-to-destination listed are merely estimates. From the entrance of the front door: -Officer's Club/The Clubs at Quantico (next to the Crossroads Inn, 1 min walk) -Marine Corps Service Station/Gas Station/Shoppette (45 min to 1hr fast walk, 8 mins by car) -McDonald's (45 min fast walk, 8 mins by car) -Marine Corps Exchange/Food Court (46 min fast walk; 8 mins by car) -Commissary (47 min fast walk; 8 mins by car) -Quantico Naval Medical Clinic (20 min fast walk, 30 sec by car) -Marine Mart/Shoppette on Fuller Heights Rd. (30 min fast walk, 1 min by car) -Quantico Train Station (35 min fast walk, 2 mins by car) If you turn right onto Potomac Ave. (towards the train station) from Fuller Heights Rd., you'll see an entire street of establishments (including restaurants and a barbershop). The town of Dumfries is about 15 minutes away by car and has a bit more variety than Quantico and Triangle. Stafford is 20 minutes away, and has more (and better) places to eat and shop than all 3. SERVICE/ROOMS: I didn't require housekeeping on my 5 stays here, so I cannot comment on that (sorry). However, I can say that the housekeeping staff is friendly and helpful. If you forget to have your room cleaned on a particular day and want replacement towels and soap, just ask the staff at the front desk and they'll get you what you need. I stayed in 5 different rooms--2 rooms on the 1st floor, 2 on the 2nd floor, and one of the suites on the 3rd floor. For the most part, the standard rooms on the 2nd floor ($92/day) were fine with weak water pressure being the main problem. On my second visit here, the water pressure was not only weak but the room also had problems with small white bugs climbing up the walls whenever the lamps were turned on at night. The standard rooms on the 1st floor ($92/day) were better. I was offered one of the handicap-accessible standard rooms ($97/day) due to low occupancy, and found it to be one of the best non-suite rooms offered; the quality of the room is on par with a Navy Lodge room albeit smaller. It also has a kitchenette. For military lodging, the 3rd floor suites ($101/day) are decent. All of the standard amenities are there, with the addition of a kitchenette, dining table, and miniature living room. My main complaint for the suite is the lack of outlets compared to regular rooms. CHECK-IN is at 3:30pm, while CHECK-OUT is at 12pm. One thing I found rude and unprofessional during my last visit is having my room key deactivated 45 minutes before check-out time. It was annoying because I was in the middle of loading my luggage into my vehicle. For the most part, however, my stays here have been pretty comfy.

    Very nice accommodations.

Very nice accommodations. This visit included a barrier free room. I have stayed here numerous times and never had anything but a great stay. I believe an outside company is running the hotel, and the rates reflect it. Still, I like it enough to continue to be a repeat customer. Continental breakfast in the morning, including one of those flip-waffle makers. A nice facility at MCB Quantico.

    Very nice room!

The room has a microwave, coffee maker, if you're into that, and hangers for clothes. There is a nice desk space and a TV where you can connect to your external apps. The bathroom also has a blow dryer if needed. I was on the first floor, and very close to the icemaker, which is a huge plus for me. The fitness center is ridiculously small, therefore I did not use it because it was always very busy. They do have a water station in the fitness room, so I did go in there to fill up my water several times. The indoor pool looked nice, but I did not have time to enjoy it. They have a little convenient store at the lobby if you need snacks or necessities. All of the staff were very friendly while I was there. The complementary breakfast buffet was delicious, and I like that they changed out the protein. I ate scrambled eggs and bacon, with a waffle, one day, and the same with chicken sausage the next. They also had pork sausage patties, various bread selections, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, And cereal. I love a good free breakfast! The only downside to my experience was the shower in my room, it had mold on the floor and on either side of the door.

The accommodations were great! Check out was easy. I was assisted by the General Manager, Cesar Reina. He was personable , helpful and kind. Every staff person I met was great. The parking is very easy and accessible to the casino. The stores are fun and the restaurants look great. The atrium is beautiful and I was lucky enough that it was Lunar New Year themed when I visited. The rooms are quite nice and very clean, plus they are spacious. Bed is comfortable and the shower is great. Climate control worked well. It was an enjoyable stay and I would stay here again. The spa was fine, but more on that under separate cover. For food, I ate at the National Market (food court), from both Zizi's Pizza and Noodle Bar, both of which were fine, and I'd eat at again. I also ate at the Bellagio Patisserie, which was good--I liked my flatbread and latte for breakfast, along with my dessert. Room service was enjoyable, as I ordered a very delicious chicken tender and tots meal. I'm not a casino person but I do enjoy walking through one and MGM has a fun vibe. I was hoping to try Blossom during one visit, but it did not open in time. We had drinks in the lobby bar, which is well-appointed and lively with delicious cocktails and great service. We also had drinks at Osteria Costa, but service was not great. The website/app leaves much to be desired. I could not find all needed information and opening times for restaurants and stores were incorrect, which is bewildering and causes one to wonder what else management is overlooking. Staff is super friendly and helpful though, and I am looking forward to returning.

Sleek without feeling cold. It gives the whole place a real destination feel instead of just a room full of machines. The baccarat setup stood out. Lots of tables. Good weekend energy. It felt active without feeling impossible to get into. The mixed table games gave the floor more range too. Enough variety to wander. Enough action to keep the room alive. Very casino main character. Very "one more hand" behavior. The slot machines were strong. Plenty of options. Bright screens. Good variety. Easy to get pulled into a section and lose track of time. They had that modern casino pull where the machines feel like little video games with rent due. Fun. Loud. Addictive in the expected way. The food area was decent. Convenient more than special. It handled the need. Grab something. Reset. Get back to the floor. Nothing that stole the show but enough to keep the night moving. Parking is huge. First-time confusing though. The size is helpful once you understand it. But pulling in for the first time had that "where exactly am I supposed to go" moment. A few more mental breadcrumbs would help. The vibe is weekend casino polish with a strong National Harbor flex. Big property. Big tables. Big lights. Easy to make a night out of it. it's giving...
