They were in the middle of changing door locks at the time of our stay, and I requested they do it at a later time when I wasn't in the room and felt a little bullied into having them do it on the spot. This hotel is not livable. Unfortunately, there is nothing else in the area that is safe and the military would pay for so we are stuck here. I have gotten 12 key cards for the 3 days I have been here. They all broke after one use. They are so terrible they break if within 1 foot of a phone. 1 foot?!! We have 2 TVs though! Oh wait, neither work! I tried to call the front desk to complain. But, the phones don't work either. The couch looks so disgusting I haven't bothered sitting on it once. They also have free breakfast and a nice cheap convenient store area downstairs, probably the only perks of the hotel. Oh, and I forgot! Our room smells like tomato soup. read more

The Crossroads Inn has all of the basic accommodations and amenities you may need during your stay on base. Parking is available around the entire building. Elevators and the staircase are accessible on all floors. Breakfast is offered every morning. AMENITIES: My standard room ($92 rate) came with x2 twin beds, a sofa chair, an air conditioning unit, a trash bin, a flatscreen TV on top of a cabinet with three drawers, a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with complementary coffee, a desk with a built-in outlet and x2 USB charging ports, a desk lamp, a floor lamp, a nightstand with a lamp that has x2 built-in outlets, a telephone, x4 separate wall outlets, towels, and complementary bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.), a box of tissues. Wi-fi is accessible from all rooms; just connect to the "Crossroads_Inn" network. There's a laundromat in the lodge and vending machines scattered around the facility. NEARBY ON-BASE DESTINATIONS: Please note the time-to-destination listed are merely estimates. From the entrance of the front door: -Officer's Club/The Clubs at Quantico (next to the Crossroads Inn, 1 min walk) -Marine Corps Service Station/Gas Station/Shoppette (45 min to 1hr fast walk, 8 mins by car) -McDonald's (45 min fast walk, 8 mins by car) -Marine Corps Exchange/Food Court (46 min fast walk; 8 mins by car) -Commissary (47 min fast walk; 8 mins by car) -Quantico Naval Medical Clinic (20 min fast walk, 30 sec by car) -Marine Mart/Shoppette on Fuller Heights Rd. (30 min fast walk, 1 min by car) -Quantico Train Station (35 min fast walk, 2 mins by car) If you turn right onto Potomac Ave. (towards the train station) from Fuller Heights Rd., you'll see an entire street of establishments (including restaurants and a barbershop). The town of Dumfries is about 15 minutes away by car and has a bit more variety than Quantico and Triangle. Stafford is 20 minutes away, and has more (and better) places to eat and shop than all 3. SERVICE/ROOMS: I didn't require housekeeping on my 5 stays here, so I cannot comment on that (sorry). However, I can say that the housekeeping staff is friendly and helpful. If you forget to have your room cleaned on a particular day and want replacement towels and soap, just ask the staff at the front desk and they'll get you what you need. I stayed in 5 different rooms--2 rooms on the 1st floor, 2 on the 2nd floor, and one of the suites on the 3rd floor. For the most part, the standard rooms on the 2nd floor ($92/day) were fine with weak water pressure being the main problem. On my second visit here, the water pressure was not only weak but the room also had problems with small white bugs climbing up the walls whenever the lamps were turned on at night. The standard rooms on the 1st floor ($92/day) were better. I was offered one of the handicap-accessible standard rooms ($97/day) due to low occupancy, and found it to be one of the best non-suite rooms offered; the quality of the room is on par with a Navy Lodge room albeit smaller. It also has a kitchenette. For military lodging, the 3rd floor suites ($101/day) are decent. All of the standard amenities are there, with the addition of a kitchenette, dining table, and miniature living room. My main complaint for the suite is the lack of outlets compared to regular rooms. CHECK-IN is at 3:30pm, while CHECK-OUT is at 12pm. One thing I found rude and unprofessional during my last visit is having my room key deactivated 45 minutes before check-out time. It was annoying because I was in the middle of loading my luggage into my vehicle. For the most part, however, my stays here have been pretty comfy. read more

Very nice accommodations. This visit included a barrier free room. I have stayed here numerous times and never had anything but a great stay. I believe an outside company is running the hotel, and the rates reflect it. Still, I like it enough to continue to be a repeat customer. Stayed here a week while training civilian trainers in our culture change program. Staff are pleasant if a bit lackadaisical. Carpet bare in spots. Furniture in good shape. Beds firm and comfortable. Paint bubbled in spots in bathroom. In wall A/C noisy by design. Very convenient to Clubs at Quantico facility where training was held. Can be noisy if Marines are coming in late or leaving early. read more

I have stayed here on three different occasions and will be coming back next month. Pros: The rooms are clean and the staff is courteous. They have games and videos that you can borrow. Good WiFi service. You can't beat the price! Cons: Even when calling on the 60 day advance date, twice the hotel has been booked. The breakfast is worthless. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE THEY MIGHT NOT HAVE IT WHEN YOU SHOW UP. Just showed up for reservation after traveling from Florida and they don't have a room for us. The manager, over the phone, has told me he can't do anything, over the phone not even in person. He won't find us another room at another hotel, nothing. We had and showed our reservation to the desk and they just keep saying they don't have one. We have no idea where to even go. read more

Don't expect much when it comes to customer service here. Traveled from California to Virginia and arrived late night only to be met with comments like can you keep your kids quiet because people are sleeping. I am someone who will admit when their kids are acting up but simple laughing between my two kids shouldn't be met with comments to keep my kids quiet and that they are a disturbance. The Crossroads Inn is a pretty descent place. It has all the basic amenities you need to feel comfortable and get business done. The common areas is clean and there are computers available for use. In addition, wi-fi is available and the strength of the bandwith is strong. A continental breakfast is offered every day from 0630-0900 and offers a good array of cereals, yogurts, fruits, and breads. The room is clean and the each one has climate control. Unfortunately, there is no workout facility on the premises, but a gym is just down the road. The staff is really helpful. Overall, the stay was fairly nice. read more

Very nice accommodations on base. The bedding was so comfortable that I'm trying to find a way to buy it. Only bad thing was that there was an intermittent leak in the ceiling above the bathtub. It seems like it might spray out water when the room above uses the shower. Otherwise was very clean, up to date, and comfortable. read more

I called and said we have never smoked a day in our lives. Said they charged 150 need to speak to a Ms Dawson on Monday morning. Which I definitely will do and speAk to commandeer of post also. Took a team to Quantico thinking it was more of a barracks. Turns out it is a beautiful hotel that is on par with a Hilton. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is outstanding and bent over backwards to accommodate us. I can't say enough about how great they were to me and my team. My husband, daughter, and I stayed here while attending our son's graduation from The Basic School. We reserved a suite (2 rooms, king bed, pull out couch, efficiency kitchen) and were very happy. The staff was quite pleasant, rates are very reasonable, rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, wi-fi is uncomplicated, and access to the graduation venue and MCX is excellent. It was so nice to eliminate the hassle of going on/off base, although that wasn't a huge problem. The coffee is good - we didn't have anything else off the breakfast bar. We had to reserve a second room at the last minute, as TBS grads have to be out of their barracks the day of graduation. The staff accommodated us without a problem. I don't know if we'll have the need to come back in the future, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat :) read more

I would not let a dead dog stay in this place! My husband and I were going to stay here for 30 days while waiting for our house. It started off well, the room was ok and the rate was fine. We were happy UNTIL we checked our account. On the tenth day they charged us for the past ten days....I thought ok, this is not what they told us they were going to do but fine. I spoke to the desk and he said they would not charge the account until we check out in case we check out early. I thought ok, then on the 16th day they charged us for 16 days which was charging us twice for the first ten days. The next day there was 3 holds on the account that was over 4000 dollars. read more

Stayed here two weeks in a room with a kitchenette and it was ok. Clean but dated rooms, friendly staff, laundry room with detergent. There was a partially used roll of paper towels, an unopened roll, and dishwasher detergent. I don't know if that's standard or the last people who stayed there left them (I left my dish soap) but it was nice. The A/C and heating was a little rough, didn't always kick on after I set it. There isn't a gym but the base gym is down the street. The "breakfast buffet" is actually a dessert buffet- Dunkin Donuts, sugary yogurts, waffles, sometimes pastries. The only protein was hard boiled eggs but you better not get there after a group of Marines because you'll have to hunt down management to get more eggs (assuming you want legit food for breakfast and not dessert, the Marines know what's up). The only other healthy food are bananas (which are also usually gone ASAP except that they didn't usually have more), apples, and black coffee (which is super weak but there's a Starbuck on base if you need respectable coffee). My husband came up for the weekend and house keeping must've noticed his suitcase because they left extra towels and washcloths which I appreciated. Overall it's ok but not somewhere I would book myself. read more
