A lot of complaints about mail and deposits:(- rules are rules. Jennifer is the manager, not the owner. Don't shoot the messenger. I've never had a problem. Read your paperwork, and no question is stupid. Communication is key The mail is a post office issue. (I've had mail stolen from my house- it's not the landlords fault, unfortunate as it is). People like to post when there is a complaint. I wish the folks who have had emergency repairs done and errands ran and numerous other neat perks to being here are performed would post reviews. This place, the staff and the people we have met here are priceless:) UPDATE: We LOVE visiting this place!! During our last visit Jennifer was kind enough to take us on a tour of the property! Even showed us different spots to choose from! I am so happy this place is under new management and some great new renovations are being done because of it. The office is beautiful and the laundry room is a great perk:) I hope the new owner sees what a gem they have in Jennifer. I've never experienced the customer service we get from her with any other park.

The best part about this place is the property manager Miss Lisa. Somehow she always remembers your name and is always helpful if you need anything. Let me first clarify, this is the closest "campground" to downtown Dallas. Be very scared. I decided to give it a whirl and take it all in as an "experience". Plus, I wasn't the one who picked the place out and I didn't want to be rude. The sign out front says Lady Luck "Modern". I would say that this is anything but modern. It's by far the oldest RV park I've ever been to. I'm guessing it has about 100 spots, only about 5 were available for the daily stays, making it 95% of a trailer park. Like, chain link fence around the RV spots, "beware of the dog" postings, trailer park. Yep. I'm rating a trailer park a four. Why? Because it was super cheap for our two night stay, with full hook ups, and it is like 10 minutes to downtown Dallas. I didn't stay outside or use the amenities anyways and the only time I drove toward the middle of the property was at check in. I stayed two nights and I only seen two people outside while I was there. So, the residents keep to themselves. I would definitely not bring a kid here, not only because of the previous reviews, but because the "playground" looked to be from the 1970s. Actually come to think of it, the entire property was straight up out of the 1970s. I mean, I like vintage and all, but this was slightly risky. The dog park, that's a similar story to the playground. The owners must collect old signs and metal ornaments and decided to place them about the front. There really isn't a way to explain it properly, just look at the pictures. It's loud, especially for the daily rated spots upfront, those you can even see the trucks and traffic passing the freeway and on I35. We just turned the air conditioning up and tv on and rolled with it. If you can tolerate the sound and can keep an open mind, do it. When you go RVing, life's a trip. Make sure you clarify whether you have a 30 amp or a 50 amp. Otherwise, I think they automatically charge for a 50 amp. Cash and check only... told ya, 1970s.

We have followed all the rules and paid on time. They say money doesn't matter yet the streets are shit and they increase the lot payment every year. They also go around towing people if they aren't "registered". It's horrible don't come here!!! It's trash. She acts like a dictator bully who we can't question. Also she hired her daughter who doesn't seem to know what's going on if her mother has to step in for her speaking

I *FINALLY* get resolution to move before the end of my lease because of all the headaches I've had…read morewith this company for the 2 years I was living in a rental and now they are over a week late getting me my final deposit refund check. According to the laws governing landlords and tenants in Dallas, TX, I am now due 3 times my deposit plus $100. I was out of my place by 1/31/16 as stated in my paperwork and signed by the resident manager. They had 30 days to have my final deposit refund check to me after that along with a listing of any final charges. I got a letter on 3/9/16 which was dated 3/4/16 stating my check will be cut on 3/8/16. I should have had the final check IN MY HANDS by 3/2/16. Do I need to quote chapter and section of the law? Now I'm told there was a glitch and my check won't even be printed until today????? I guess it's time to talk to my lawyer. Might as well add court costs on to that check folks.
