I've been coming here for about a year. I am terrible at pool but honestly it doesn't matter here. They staff is friendly and the drinks are dive bar portions. They typically have a drink or shot of the month which if you're looking for something new I would give it try. Also they discounted table rates and weekly and monthly tournaments. Now some know before you go: 1) This is a smoking establishment - if you're sensitive to smoking I don't recommend going. 2) They serve snacks not not meals but if you're hungry they do have menus for places nearby that deliver available and a Hungry Howies in the plaza. read more

came to this place on a whim to play some pool, for a pool hall this was kept up VERY nicely! impressed to say the least, the only downside is I thought it was a no smoking hall and I was mistaken that cigars are the only thing not allowed inside, sort of a shame being a non smoker I felt like I would have stayed longer but I couldn't handle the smoke/smoke headache. overall the bartenders were amazing, super friendly, if they change their smoking arrangements we will be back! read more

This is a clean and well run establishment that supports both casual and serious pool. There are excellent Diamond tables and a good supply of friendly, quality, straight up shooters. Multiple pool leagues play here and it is easy to see why. If you want action, it can be had. Donny Mills and Shane Van Boening played a 10k match here. Bring your A game or pay to learn. read more

This is the closest and nicest pool hall to where I live. This is such a great discovery in our neighborhood! The place is well-lit, clean, and has a nice ambience compared to the other joints I've been to. The prices are just right and I believe they serve bar chow too! The lady bartender is very sweet and attentive to our needs. There are 2 types of pool table here. We just rented the regular one for $5 per person, per hour on a Friday night. Definitely coming back here since it's so close to our house and the crowd is not shady. Keep it up, guys! read more

My very first review of a pool hall so I hope I get it right. This is definitely hidden along a frontage road beside US-19 and encased in a little strip mall. I thought it was going to be dumpy inside, but it was surprisingly nice. Great atmosphere (and very well-ventilated for a smoking joint), very nice bartenders and the pool tables are well kept. They're flat, even and the sticks aren't messed up like most pool halls. The bartender who works Saturday night also makes a very good Long Island. The clientele is a mix, but nobody who's rowdy or too loud. In fact, for a Saturday night, it was surprisingly quiet. Prices are decent as well. They also have darts, if you're not a pool person. I live right down the road so I'm glad I found this place. As I really can't find any faults, I'm sure I'll be back in the future. read more

A seasoned pool player would probably give a higher rating to The Crooked Cue, so this review is purely from an inexperienced player's perspective. I've come here a couple of times for corporate "team days" where the majority of players had little to no experience. The staff has been friendly, and the seasoned pool players have never given us a hard time, despite our embarrassing antics. The pool tables are nice, and we really enjoy the music that's available. What we didn't like was the heavy smell of smoke, which required the use of an inhaler for at least one person. The alcohol selection was serviceable, with a variety of hard liquor, a few beers (only a couple being drinkable: Guinness, Stella), and the low end Sutter Home wines. It can be fun for a group of friends who aren't too picky about what they drink, and probably a great place to practice your pool skills. read more

The worst experience I have ever had at a pool hall. The owner was very unprofessional and rude to me and my sister. At the end of the night, she even accused me of stealing my own pool cue! The whole place smells like smoke and the booze is horrible and the bartender messed up my drink. The pool time is cheap, though, so I guess there's that. read more

Tables were great, drinks were ok, sticks weren't. Had trouble finding a 21oz cue and when I finally did it was missing the weight so I had to shoot with a 19oz. Really enjoyed that they had a TouchTunes box and we could play songs straight from our phone. But the big reason I won't be back, and the reason I let 25k+ cigar smokers on Facebook know not to go here, is that while they allow cigarette smokers to fill the place with their tobacco smoke, for some reason they have banned cigar smoke. It's their right to not allow cigar tobacco, which has been nicely aged and smells immensely better than cigarette tobacco, but it's the reason I probably won't be coming back. If I do come back, it'll be with pipe in hand, because nothing they had posted bans that :) read more

This place is the best pool hall in Pinellas county, believe me I've been to all of them. Great service, extremely clean including their bathrooms 3 championship Diamond tables,, nine Gandy tables, all in perfect condition. Friendly staff and great owners. This pool hall featured World class matches. I saw Donnie Mills play Shane Van boening play there the number 1 ranked player in the US UPA tour! Nice bar and very good prices. My compliments to them for not allowing cigar smoking here what a disgusting and rude intrusion to anyone. Come and enjoy yourself. read more

Not a good atmosphere. Went on a Saturday afternoon, and there was only what I assume to be "regulars" there. I was constantly looked at, and even approached about the way I was playing and my companion. I wanted to have a good time but this place seemed judgemental. I left after an hour...leaving the pitcher of beer and all. I guess you must fit a profile to play here. read more

I am so pleasantly surprised by this place! Did a Google search looking for a place other than my typical 2 pool halls and this is definitely my new go-to spot. It's seriously waaay super clean, allows smoking, but doesn't reduce your life span by simply walking in the door & has the sweetest bartender. The tables are really nice too; real big like and even.
