AMZING AMAZING AMAZING ! I called in for a last minute order for delivery and Michele helped me out and kept me updated every step of the way. I gave her a budget for the bouquet and was nice enough to give me a military/Veteran discount when I asked. Even though they were already busy for the day they were awesome enough to squeeze my order and delivery in. I really appreciate the communication and the quality of service. The beautiful white and purple bouquet came out stunning and beautiful. Thank you Michele! read more

What a great person Michele is... I used to live in Tustin but my parents still do. I called Michele after my sister used her and enjoyed her service. So I kept it in the family and did the same thing but this time it was for my parents anniversary. All I can say is it was a Breathe taking arrangement!!!!! My parents loved it. But even better Michele personally wrote out my message in her beautiful handwriting. Thank you so much for doing that for my family . read more

During the 2020 lockdown, I was curious to see the impact on local businesses and this Economics geek wanted to see what goods and services were considered (in)elastic. Being relatively new to the area, I read positive reviews for Michele's floral talent and professionalism and bookmarked her business, The Crafty Chicken. Until recently, I hadn't had a compelling celebration or reason to order a floral arrangement. To celebrate a dear friend's milestone birthday, after a few years of adversity and physical distance from her semi-grown children, I knew this was finally the time to reach out to Michele. She featured a beautiful Mother's Day arrangement, but this was a starting point, i.e. my budget. I contacted her to ask about my ideal day for delivery and talk about flowers and colors for consideration. Of course, I'd trust her experience and creativity because I'm limited in my knowledge of botanicals. She has expertise but didn't make me feel silly. Instead, she joined me in celebrating my friendship and the special day. Although Michele already had a wedding for which to prepare, she suggested a thoughtful timeline to make this surprise work. And despite her recovery from a physical injury, Michele recruited her husband to help with fresh flower supply and delivery. Very thankful to discover, work with and support this Tustin business owner. read more

I can't rave enough about Michele and her floral creations! She has a gift for knowing just what the type of floral arrangement would fit the type of situation you are looking for. She has helped me with Mother's Day flowers, just because flowers, etc. She's able to work with you depending on your budget and timeline - just ask! More than that, Michele (and John) are just good people. The kind of people that make the world a better place, who care about their customers and their products. Their spirit and values are embedded into their business practices and that's rare nowadays, and all the more reason to support them. Support local businesses! read more

A+++ Michele went above and beyond to create a gorgeous arrangement for my Mom who was in the hospital after a car accident. I am 3000 miles away in FL and knowing there is someone in CA that I can reach out to anytime, I couldn't be more delighted with the results. She took time and care to select a sturdy vase so her arrangement wouldn't get knocked over, and she chose long lasting, fresh flowers that will bloom and brighten her hospital room for a long time. The colors are amazing! My mom said everyone came in to see who they were from and remarked that they were the most beautiful flowers they'd ever seen! I'm glad she's so happy and I truly appreciate Michele's attention to detail. I always want to support small businesses and this is one I can recommend 100%. Thank you so much Michele!! read more

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES. My last minute self called on Sunday at 545pm (when they close at 6pm) to see if they had any last minute bouquets but Michelle had the best customer service ever! She suggested another place that was still open and I said I might still need it the following day so she texted me the following day TO FOLLOW UP! I will update my review once I order flowers but we need more small business owners like Michelle. Please order from her!!! PS she said she always has 40-50 bouquets and that includes local delivery! read more

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Michele. On top of being so professional, she is also the kindest most genuine person I have ever met. I was so lucky to have been able to book her for my wedding. She is so passionate about her work, constantly reaching out for my opinions and input on flowers, informing me of delays and alternatives and more importantly, always trying her best to provide emotional support whenever I expressed any stress. I will never be able to understand what sorcery she performed to create my bouquets and boutonnières. They were beyond anything I could ever imagine. I loved my bouquet so much that immediately after the wedding, I hung it up in order to preserve it for as long as possible. Michele you are truly talented and I cannot begin to thank you for taking the time to make my day special, and most importantly, for being such a wonderful human being. read more

Amazing quality & look at this living art! My best friend surprised me with this gorgeous arrangement when my beloved dog/best friend Pee Wee had to be put down. It lifted my spirits and it lasted two weeks! Michele has also donated some of her flowers to a local project that is striving on becoming a non profit. She did this from the kindness of her heart & that speaks volumes of her character. This is the same arrangement in the pictures & I don't know what kind of magic is in these flowers, but the color went from bold to a blush. read more

There aren't even enough words for me to describe how wonderful it was to work with Michele! She is simply the BEST! I searched all over Yelp to find a florist to make my succulent bouquet for my wedding. I got several quotes, but what really drew me to Michele was how excited she sounded in her response! I could just tell she was going to be great to work with. We emailed back and forth pictures of what we thought would look good. And I guess one of my emails sounded like I was getting pretty overwhelmed with the whole wedding planning process, so she called me and calmed me down right then and there. We went succulent shopping together to pick out just the right pieces for my bouquet, his boutonnière and the cake. She sent me tons and tons of photos of different roses and other flower options from the wholesalers as well. I just loved how involved she had me in the process of building out what everything should look like. The day before the wedding, she brought my bouquet to me and I think I was in shock at how amazing it turned out I don't even know if I remembered to thank her! She also took all of the homemade decor from me and set up everything at the restaurant for our reception. She worked with the baker to place all the cake flowers and succulents. The restaurant had not set up the table when she got there, so she actually put everything together herself along with her helper. She even painted the wall behind our table that the restaurant was supposed to have painted earlier in the morning! This woman seriously did EVERYTHING for me! It all turned out beautiful, and she really made our special day go so smoothly and stress-free. I don't even know how to thank her enough!! read more

Extremely happy I was able to meet Michele at a farmers market booth. My family and I went to have breakfast and decided to walk off our food and we walked up to The Crafty Chicken. The first thing that caught mine and my husbands eyes was this Rams wreath she just made. We are HUGE rams fans and have never seen anything like it. It wasn't just a holiday wreath but a year round decoration. My husband wanted this so bad, however we decided to wait on it because he wanted to have the sign his mom got him to replace the center sign Michele had on it originally. During the middle of the week I decided to reach out to Michele via Instagram to ask if it was possible to switch the signs out and make it EXTRA special for my hubby. She was so happy and excited and agreed the sign switch would be even better. We kept in touch to plan this surprise for my husband. I'm SO HAPPY o secured the wreath because the day of the surprise there were tons of rams fans walking by her booth staring at the wreath. Lol! To make it even more special hubbys mom wrote loving message on the back of his sign before I handed it to Michele to add into the wreath. We planned to surprise him at her booth as we walk by after breakfast. Her and her husband were so great and personable. This all worked out very well. My husband wanted to show his mom the wreath he's been wanting and Michele told him it was sold to throw him off but little did he know it was HIS to keep. My husband shed a few tears once he realized what was happening. It was such a perfect surprise and I'm so happy Michele and her husband were so on board and excited to help. They even filmed it for me. I recommend her 10000% for any custom decor and she even does beautiful flower arrangements!! Can't wait to connect with her for our wedding flowers! Thank you Michele for the great communication and support and enthusiasm!! read more

I'm all about supporting small businesses and I absolutely hate buying flowers from online florists because they are way over priced and charge an arm and leg for delivery. I ordered Easter flowers from Michele and she took the time to ask what kind of colors and flowers I like. She put together something very nice with beautiful succulents. So when mothers day came around she let me know she had some great specials so of course I jumped on it. Again she asked what kind of colors I wanted for my mom. She had some car troubles the day of delivery but kept me updated and communicated with me so I knew when the new delivery time would be. I appreciate the communication and my mom loved her flowers! read more

Where do I begin?! I am in WI and my mom visited family around Mother's Day just up the road from Michelle at The Crafty Chicken. My great aunt and my mom are super close and of course we wanted to surprise mom and aunt with some beautiful flowers! My son and I did our due diligence and did plenty of research, quickly deciding that we wanted to skip those order online or by phone widely advertised flower companies - we wanted to support a local small business. So we started our research into which floral shop we were going to support 1,700 miles away. I called Michelle and let me tell you, she is the sweetest stranger I've ever met! After we played phone tag for a bit (silly time zones!) we connected and talked for a while and just hit it off. She is a doll and absolutely NAILED the flowers!! She listened to me and really heard what I was looking for and the amount of 'wow, these are the most beautiful flowers ever' and 'it literally smells amazing, best smelling flowers ever! I can't begin to describe how they awesome they smell' while FaceTiming was making me tear up all the way back in WI. I will never call anyone else in the Tustin area for flowers! And my great aunt has already told her friends about The Crafty Chicken! Also, not only did she choose a vase to match the flowers, she also put consideration to my mom bringing it home on the plane! Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a florist and call The Crafty Chicken! read more
