Reservations are insanely hard to come by their offered two weeks in advance for a period of two weeks and you better be online second they come open and even then you might not get a seat. But if you do get a Seat pay the extra money to sit the front row it is so worth it. This is a chopped/iron chef competition dinner where there are two chefs that are given mystery ingredients an hour and a half before the guests arrive. They are allowed one sous shop to assist them and they came up with a plan for appetizer, which is the first time event and a main course which is the second time event and a dessert which is the third time event. It's a flat fee reservation with tip included, except for the drink which you order off the menu and they have very reasonable prices and then you're expected to tip on that. Weeknight reservations are cheaper than weekend. The location is right next to the subway exit so if you're coming from Manhattan, it's an easy ride on the subway. There is a master of ceremonies host who tells you all the rules and conducts the voting and the penalties for overtime spent for ingredients lacking in the chef's dinner. The customers are the ones that award points. On my most recent minute visit a couple days ago I found that one chef had the most superb salmon appetizer that I have ever had. It was pretty much perfect and I would order it at any restaurant that I went to. However, he totally was a failure when it came to desserts and unfortunately, he lost the competition. It was kind of interesting as the males overly selected. The male chefs recipes has been superior and didn't really concentrate on his totally terrible dessert while the female females voted for the female chef. Most several couples were split on their vote. It was quite interesting. This would make a superb family outing or business activity, dinner or romantic date! I highly highly recommend Hudson Table!

It had the look and feel and energy level of a Saturday night party. Michael's dance team was amazing. Our guests are still talking about it. We added a saxophone player and drummer as well. Michael was referred to us by a friend at our temple and he did not disappoint. We liked the fact that included in his price were games during the cocktail hour. The only extra was the pop-a-shot and his crew had it set up for the cocktail hour and then seemlessly broke it down and reconfigured it in the main room in advance of the main doors opening. We used his photo booth as well, which was a lot of fun. We didn't want to do frames and he was able to get us vinyl sleeves and tassels so the pictures can be placed in the sleeves and it became a bookmark. Our venue had built in lighting so we used the venue's lighting; however, you can use Michael as a one stop shop for lighting, video, photography and more. I selected 20 songs in advance, I didn't keep track but the DJ knew exactly what was current and the music and flow was excellent. We also did a trivia game suggested by Michael. He provided a very good checklist as well. We recommend Michael and his team for your next affair, you will be very pleased!

Special kudos to how they knew all of what to expect too...ie. they were spot on right down to knowing certain foods wouldn't really be eaten as much as others (yes, we went against their advice and yes, we were wrong...lol...but good news is I have tons of leftovers for lunch this week!) Other notes: East Wing is perfect for about 50 people, especially if you need tables and other things laid out in the space. Its well lit but private, their is a bathroom in the room, there are great nooks and crannies to store things (strollers, presents, etc) and the food is both delicious and portioned correctly. We did a lot of research and the way EDBM prices its party packages is by far the best, especially for the nicer ambiance and food quality. They are upfront with all their charges, and at the end of the day, you definitely get more for your money than you would at other places around town of similar size and service. Also, a special kudos to their onsite party host, Lindsay. She is a master party manager, bartender, hostess, problem solver, and generally kind-spirited person.
