They served pork sliders to our vegetarian guests even though the instructions and menu stated they were pork. During dinner service, they just ignored the provided instructions and menu and just decided to mix meat and shrimp into some vegetarian dishes - so we had to throw out tainted food, which was a waste of our money. Some tables barely got any food, other tables didn't eat until almost the end of the night. On top of that, one of the waiters called my wife directly to tell her that he would be late instead of contacting the wedding coordinator (we provided the coordinator info specifically to them so that he wouldn't be bothering the bride on the day of). We took a lot of time to get the menu right and provide detailed instructions to the staff, and they completely botched it. Not only that, but they had to throw out food because we took very specific care to ensure dishes didn't have allergens in them. It's fortunate that none of our guests had allergic reactions or anaphylaxis - this is the food service industry, and wholly unacceptable. Hiring these people put a huge damper on our otherwise wonderful celebration.
