Hands down best cocktail making company in the city. The private events I have participated in with them has been an awesome experience. The instructors are very nice/ hands on and are not just there to teach you how to make cocktails but they also want to know about who they are teaching and what kind of drinks we like and all. They are very accommodating with people with allergies too. We were making a cocktail that included something I was allergic too and they replaced it with some fruit I could muddle in my drink. If you ever have the chance to host a cocktail making class this company is the way to go. read more

I attended a mixology class with Liquid Lab and would highly recommend it. Definitely eat something beforehand because you will be making four full cocktails! They all had their own spin (not just your typical Moscow Mule) and I loved learning about proper technique and what to take into account with flavor profiles. There's an intermission halfway through for food (and it was delicious). There was even a make-your-own cocktail competition at the end for an extra fun ending. It's a great value and would definitely do it again! read more

I may have a knack for bartending & Liquid Lab brought it out of me. What a great interactive activity that can show you only how to make a great cocktail, but go elevate our palettes & experiment with flavors. The teachers were friendly, funny, knowledgeable & helpful. The drinks were delicious & we had a great time sipping & making them. 10/10 recommend! read more

Went to a Liquid Lab NYC mixology class at Elsie Rooftop with a friend and had the best time. Parker and Christian were total pros and the cocktails we made (four distinctly different ones and a fifth of our own creation) were one better than the next. Made new friends during the course of the night and had so much fun from start to finish. read more

Had the most amazing team building activity at our offices with the Liquid Lab team! Had a mixologist class scheduled for 8 at our offices. They host events for groups at other venues for an additional coat. The only thing you have to provide is ice and they ship all the other ingredients sans alcohol to arrive morning of. Our mixologists, Austin and Yaliza, we super fun and helpful through the class. They threw on some music and got everyone to do a little ice breaker which was nice. Then we walked through the tools we'd be using (a strainer, muddler, etc) and then it was on to the drinks. We made four drinks which our mixologists had chosen beforehand, all with four very different sets of ingredients. For each drink, we learned a little bit about the history of it, what goes in it, and then went around the table trying our hand at making it. Austin and Yaliza made sure to provide hints throughout and walked around helping and cleaning up after us. All of the drinks were really good - strong but still tasted great when combined with the fresh ingredients. At the end, we split into teams and created our own cocktails with additional ingredients. Everyone in our group had such a blast and I will definitely be doing this class again soon. Would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a fun activity. read more

This was such a fun class and such a great instructor (Charlie, with assistant Simone and 2 other assistants who helped organize and clean everything and provided ingredients and kept the class moving well). I had fun every minute and the Chopped-style cocktail making competition at the end was a great blast! The venue - a lounge and private dining room inside the Time Hotel - was also gorgeous and lent a great ambience. I reserved this class as a birthday present for my partner and he loved it! Highly recommend this class to couples, groups of friends, etc. Learning how to make 4 cocktails for only $100 per person + drinking each of the 4 (incredibly delicious and strong) cocktails you made, and eating appetizers, is such a great deal and a great time. read more

We went to a class here on a Tuesday night in Times Square. It was $100/pp but totally worth it for 4 cocktails each and then a 5th one to share with the person you came with! I loved that you actually mix and measure everything yourself. After the first two drinks, we were served some light snacks including pizza slices, grilled cheese bites, and rice balls. Such a great date night or workplace activity! Highly recommend. The instructors were also high energy and answered all questions. read more

Brought the wife for her birthday and had an absolute blast. The class encourages collaboration and communication with your classmates so we had a ton of fun. 4 engaging cocktails make this worth the money imo read more

Over the past few years, we've probably been to over 20 Liquid Lab events - from in-person classes, to private events and virtual events. I truly credit liquid lab with turning us into 'cocktail people' and we've loved learning and growing over time with Parker and the team! Most recently, I was back in NYC for my 30th and there was no question who would host the event. Parker and the team set up a 'cocktail stations' party at Ninas x Liquid Lab in SoHo. Such a beautiful, big space that felt special tucked away in the hotel. Bartenders were truly amazing and walked the guests through how to make their own cocktails from a set of 4 'custom cocktails,' and went out of their way to make my parents drinks and bring it over to them. All of the guests had an amazing time and it was such a special way to celebrate. Can't wait to have another event with Liquid Lab!! read more

Gregory and the team were absolutely incredible leading up to, during, and after the event. The drinks were incredible both in taste and in visual appeal. My entire party was ecstatic at the service Liquid Lab provided. I wish Liquid Lab could bartend every event I ever attended! read more

I'm not sure why this business doesn't have more reviews! It was a fun experience for all levels. My husband recently became interested in cocktail making and the group class was a perfect gift. We learned so many tips and tricks while having a really fun date! The staff was friendly and helpful as well as giving us a few laughs in between. We even got a guide to making a bunch of cocktails that weren't all covered in the class So we had a piece of the class to continue at home. Additionally, the group class includes snacks that are real snacks-not just little things that don't fill you up. (Pizza, fries, rice balls) I would recommend this class ten times over. Don't let the group class discourage you-it's pretty intimate and you get the individual attention you need! read more

Had a great time with my partner at one of LL's mixology courses! They closed down a wine bar and set us up along the bar to teach us 4 cocktails, plus a make your own cocktail competition (everyone had their own tools, super interactive and you get nice and tipsy ) The guys are super friendly and I'd definitely go back if they offer more advanced courses! read more

HIRE them for your next party. AMAZING So my fiancé hired them as a surprise bachelor party for a couple of my closest friends. It's was a blast, and just the right kind of entertainment. Basically two awesome mixologists (Chris and Malin) come to you and set up for you and 6 of your friends individual mixing stations with everything. The top shelf liquor, cups ice etc. They teach you how to make fun, tasty drinks and you drink. It sounds simple but they have such fun energy and a welcoming manner that you don't feel like your in a class but simply hanging out with more friends. This unique experience of mixing drinks is perfect cause you drink and your at home! They are hip and funny so you turn your own apt into a cool lounge or bar experience. Plus they bring all the mixing ingredients, clean up everything so they act as your bar back. I think I drank about 5 cocktails and loved each one. Then we had the competition to each make your own mix and of course humor flowed. Then they cleaned up, and left the apt like it was before. I HIGHY RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE. If your looking for a fun alternative for grown up fun that is unique and easy. Hire them. I am not a mixologist not am I a bartender but it was so fun to play like one for a night! read more

Liquid Lab NYC offers great team building bartending classes for corporate events. A class comes with all the necessary equipment, recipes, ingredients, etc. People of all ages (young professionals to partners) all enjoyed making their own drinks while having a little fun with their groups. We learned how to muddle, mix, shake, and garnish our drinks. Highly recommend if you're looking to do something different from your typical Happy Hour! read more

At work, we did a mixology class team outing with Liquid Lab, and it was super fun. The venue was at the super cool enclosed rooftop bar/event space at the top of the Time New York hotel. Our teacher was the founder Parker, and he had an assistant Ashley helping us out. He taught us how to make 4 kinds of drinks (they all were twists on some of the standards), and then we had an original cocktail contest at the end, making use of everything he taught us. I own the PDT cocktail book and used to do some mixing at home. But it was still great to get pointers on techniques and to hear firsthand why certain ingredients work together. So don't be deterred if you think it's too basic or too advanced. Would definitely recommend Liquid Lab as a team building exercise or as a unique and fun outing! read more

We had fun with these guys. I think it was a little tight at the bar and a little awkward to start (maybe try a few ice breakers), but good times for all. Great snacks (meats, cheeses, chips, and dips). Great drinks... Decent instruction. And with the five drinks you partake- really it's just a great opportunity for some festive day-time drinking... read more

We had Liquid Lab come to our mid-town office for a staff mixology event and the entire experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Parker was fast to respond via email when coordinating / booking the event. Chris and Charlie who taught the event were incredibly knowledgable and fun. We made four cocktails from their seasonal spring list and ended with a competition, which was probably our team's favorite part. They brought everything we needed for the event including bar equipment for each person, perishable ingredients and the spirits. Highly recommend! read more

Super, SUPER fun and informative in a really cool and engaging atmosphere. I bought a class for my boyfriend and I to try out, and we had an amazing time. The class learned four cocktails, and ended with an awesome "create your own cocktail" competition which was a blast. Thank you so much for the great night out! read more

I had a great time at the Liquid Lab public class I attended. It was such a fun environment, and the hosts set a great atmosphere. I appreciated the relaxed vibe; we were encouraged to taste the different liquors and liqueurs throughout the event to get a better appreciation for the ingredients. At the end of the event there was a competition to see who could apply their new knowledge to create the best cocktail. This was one of the most fun parts of the whole class as they created a fun competitive environment, and encouraged sampling and testing as you went along. I'd like to attend another in the future, and they mentioned that they are willing to alter the menu for the course if you've already been. They are super amenable and all around fun to work with, which is exactly what you want when you pay for an amateur cocktail class. I did the course with them about a year ago, but I kept forgetting to write a review until now. The reason I am writing it now is because I took a course with their competitor, Liquor Lab, and had a terrible experience. If you are debating between the two companies, save yourself the headache and choose Liquid Lab. read more

I went to a public class last night that was hosted at Time Out Market and it was amazing! Such a fun night out. Parker, who runs these events, is super friendly and engaging. He educates you on cocktails as you make them and really ensures that the experience is both creative and fun. You really get your money's worth since you get to try a variety of different cocktails and then finish off with a cocktail-making competition. Also, we were able to eat at the market for dinner as well. The set up was professional yet fun, and they keep the groups small so that you really get to chat with the bartenders/get help from them with your cocktails. Overall, it was an extremely well organized event, filled with lots of laughs. I can't recommend it enough! Thanks Parker (and Chris x2) for helping us have such a fun night out! read more

Booked our company holiday party with Liquid Lab and it was a total success! My team of 11 had a private room with 2 mixologists and all the ingredients and liquors were provided.
