It seemed she made a half effort. I think she spent less than 30 mins on my hair and that's with me having her change things. I had pieces of hair that were straight and some curled. The back looked ridiculous. I don't have to have perfection but this was just lazy and it cost me $100. I called several times to talk to the owner. I left several messages. I was nice and didn't say what I was calling about. I simply said I wanted to talk to the owner about a mother of the bride appointment so the owner wouldn't be put off. I never received a phone call back. I left 3 messages. I'm from Greensboro and have used blow dry bars. I actually would fill-in at the front desk for a friend that owned one. I know how blow dry bars should behave. Blo in Chapel Hill is bare bones. It's not pretty inside like most blow dry bars, No offer of a drink, no "it's good to see you", no "thank you for coming today" I think they are used to working on students that don't care about customer service. I was so stoked when Skyler came back since she's the stylist I like to go to the most. RPS isn't cheap but I treat myself to it and every cut I get is well worth it. I always get compliments from people after I go. I also like reading the vintage comics in their waiting area. Just a nice place all around !!

I was already on my way when I received the notice. I understand that illness happens, but a 15-minute heads-up is not acceptable. They offered to reschedule, which I appreciate, but made no attempt to compensate for the wasted trip and time. Better communication and some goodwill -- even a small discount on a future visit -- would have gone a long way.

They were nice, gave me a refund and it and promised to fix the software configuration. I wasn't going anywhere for the next couple weeks anyway. I'm sure the kid knows to just say "sorry, I can't do men's hair" next time. I don't have API access but trust her JSON object no longer returns 'mens' and they're not using XML for anything either.
