Where do I begin. I got invited to a scramble here today. Had no idea this course even existed. And it is a gem. There's so many different holes in which you feel like that's your own little world because each hole is its own entity. And u feel so chill looking I've the amazing landscape of dog legs and undulated terrain. Plus the greens are so nice so fast but fair. But also barely any ball marks at all. Great course in a great neighborhood! Jeff at the pro shop is a stand up guy, 10/10! Lots of elevation and challenging holes.

Old man's/tactician's paradise... not my favorite kind of course design - narrow fairways, with rough cut short so that awry shots roll into the forest. The course seems to ask the same question of the golfer repeatedly, and that is just to hit irons in fairways, irons into the greens, and then 2 putt. You can leave the driver at home to play this course. Well maintained outside of the bunkers. Greens were pure. Beautiful neighborhood. Some scenic holes for northwest Indiana golf. Friendly staff. If you're looking for a golf course that can at times feel like you're in a forest, has fast greens, well kept fairways & bunkers, this is the course for you. There's really nothing that can compete with this course in the area in both quality of the course and the immersion of nature other than Sand Creek. The employee's were great and helpful, cart girls were friendly and were around when needed, and manager John was a class act. Would highly recommend this course to anyone in the area, really one of the best if not the best. Pros - Good management - Tons of nature - Course is fairly well kept compared to others in the area - Price is reasonable Cons - There are a couple long walks which can be troubling for walkers. - Practice facility is missing a well kept pitching area, would be a great improvement if the rough was cut to fairway length around that area. You're really only limited to 30-40y pitches. read more

I have seen the course in much better shape. The location is convenient. The staff are ALWAYS pleasant. The price is right. I look forward to the HOA, or whoever owns it now, to take pride in the course and make it beautiful, again. read more

Very narrow and challenging course, but incredibly fun as each hole winds through the woods/development. If you're left or right, you're in the woods, not the rough. You won't get any preview on holes to come as the course progresses in a more linear design. I like that aspect, but I can understand that's subjective. Unbelievable condition for the price. Especially if you enjoy playing twilight. Very nice staff. read more

It's a nice course that just needs to be maintained more. I played in the middle of October and the bunkers were full of water and leaves. You can actually lose a ball in the fairway because there were so many leaves. Also they charged $38.00 for rentals. For $38 I expect a somewhat decent set of uniform clubs no more than 4-5 years old. I instead received basically throwaways and lost/found clubs 10 years old. My driver had a hole in it. My partner also rented clubs and he did not even have a 5 iron in his bag, but at least the range master was nice enough to drive back to the club house and find him a iron. We ended up demoing a driver and shared that club the whole round. All they have to do is drive over to dicks or golfsmith and buy 2 sets of their cheapest clubs, or lower their rental prices. read more

Top-notch, from pro shop to practice area to course maintenance. Much improved from previous seasons. Well worth the one-hour trip for us. Golfers respecting quality greens (ball marks). Relaxed "rural" feel to this place. Accommodating staff includes starter who's special forces (AF). Ranger and drink cart keeping things tight (Saturday). Some really nice elevated tees, custom stone bridges and beautiful surrounding homes. Country club golf at public prices. read more

Very slow pace of play, groups do not offer to let you play through, and the staff is extremely unfriendly. Thanks to those elements, I will never play Aberdeen again and I would never recommend it. read more

It's the first and last time I will play this course. I didn't really care for the layout one bit. Sand in the bunkers was low grade & not maintained. Play was extremely slow. A 6 hour round. The only time I saw the ranger was during the 2nd hole. A 15/20 minute wait time on the tee box from the 6th-18th hole. I really wanted to walk off the course after 9. read more
