Recently I was having intense internal/emotional stress that I thought might be helped by reiki, though I had never really done reiki before. Jill was so helpful at working with me to frame my inner emotional issues out loud so that she could target my blocked energy points through her work. Jill is incredible. I grew up in a family that taught the importance of bodywork. I had my first session when I was 18 and will never forget. Jill is extremely professional - I could tell right away that she really knew her stuff and that she took a lot of pride in her work. She exudes a gentle serenity that allows you to begin to relax even before your treatment has begun. I feel very comfortable with her. I've gotten two massages from Jill, both of which were really invigorating as her strong hands worked out every kink of tension from my muscles. She ended the session with a brief abdominal massage, which I'd never had before and was a great addition to the treatment. She also gave me some tips on stretches I could do to prevent my muscles from getting into such horrible knots again. I was intrigued by reiki and I'd never tried it before, so I went back to Jill for a reiki treatment. She began the session with some guided visualization techniques in order to help me relax. Then she delicately laid her hands on different parts of my body, tapping into my energy and, as she told me later, directing a universal energy into me. The result was that I slipped into an utterly relaxing half-sleep state, where I had peaceful dreams while I could still feel Jill's hands and hear the soft music playing in the room. Unbelievable. Jill is, by far, the most talented massage therapist I have ever encountered. To even label her as a massage therapist is quite the understatement. She is truly a gifted healer. I just had my first session with her and I haven't felt this relaxed and rejuvenated since my honeymoon in Bora Bora, which was in the Spring of 2011! The techniques she uses are extensive and executed with virtuosity and finesse. It was immediately noticeable that she really knows what she is doing and her demeanor put me at ease straight away. With just a quick explanation of my problem areas prior, she curated a personalized approach and was able to hone in on trouble spots instinctually. She is quite strong and able to manipulate very tense areas with potency, all without causing pain like I have previously experienced with "deep tissue" massages in the past. She also incorporated some Reiki, which I had previously never experienced, and it was remarkable how powerful it can be both physically and emotionally. After the session was over, she generously spent time to demonstrate certain stretches and mindfulness of breath techniques that I can use as preventative methods for my particular problems. Her rates are as reasonable as they come. I cannot recommend her highly enough! If you have been wasting your time and money at upscale "relaxation spas" like I have, you owe it to yourself to book a session with her. read more

I was looking for someone who was really skilled to help me with my neck shoulders and shoulders, which were really locked up because of an accident and long hours at work. I'd been having problems both for several months, and I'd I tried a few places with limited success when a friend recommended Jill at One Healing. She's very knowledgeable, and it came across during our phone conversation. She also is very calming and nice, which helps a lot before and during the actual massage. She asked about general problem areas, and started there, but then worked by feel and general tension points after that. She found the areas that were locked up without me saying a thing, and worked them out. She spent 1 hour on my neck and shoulders, and I felt great when I left. There were great improvements in my range of motion and the pain was all but gone. I've had some massages before, but Jill is by far the most skilled person that I've ever come across. I love the little shopping plaza where Jill's office space is. It's very unique and upscale. The office is right on the corner of San Vicente and 26th St, which I drive by all the time. Parking is underground and validated, but there is plenty of street parking nearby and I believe that the above ground lot is open to patrons of the plaza. The office itself is very nice. I felt relaxed and at home immediately. Jill is a sweetheart. I had a pretty uncommon situation to share with her before our Reiki session, and she put me completely at ease with her responses. The session flew by, but felt very full and complete at the same time. Jill's hands are very warm and filled with positive energy. I really enjoyed my treatment, and I think that her price is very reasonable. I highly recommend a Reiki session with Jill, and I'm sure she's a top-notch massage therapist as well.
