They've got nearly everything you could imagine, Jewelry, knives, handmade dish-ware, and a couple definitely not haunted dolls. I come here almost weekly, and there's still always something new to look at. If you've seen other consignment style stores, their prices are about the same. The costs aren't a dealbreaker, but you'll definitely notice them. Employees wise this place is the best, friendly, and knowledgeable. I've asked questions about a lot of their inventory, and they always seem to have the answers. The definitely not haunted dolls are probably my most memorable experience. In the corner of my eye I swear to have seen an old red jumper blackface doll run across the aisle area. I'm crazy, but I'm not spitting out lies, I wholeheartedly believe what I saw. Anyways this place is really cool, and if you're riding through town you might as well check this place out.

The ladies working here that I've encountered have always been kind and helpful. The prices can sometimes be high, but everything is negotiable in an antique and consignment shop. No one answered the phone an multiple attempts. I decided to drive there because I really needed the paint to start my project. I walked in and the woman behind the desk was sitting on a chair and doing a crossword puzzle. I asked politely where their Annie sloan products were displayed and she told me they are fazing out of carrying the Annie Sloan products n only had a few products were left, because they were too difficult to receive shipments from the UK. needless to say, had they answered the phone and told me that, they would have saved me a lot of time and gas to drive out there. sooo frustrating!!!

My daughter discovered an adorable pink night stand with a crystal knob that I plan to return for. I couldn't be happier with my finds at this store and the prices are excellent too. Since we just purchase a house, I know I will be back here for more furniture. The collections that Roaches in the Attic sells are amazing and their prices are always reasonable. They have an extensive collection of glassware, old advertising, books, and furniture. Yes the entry steps are crooked, and the floor creaks, but if you're into antiques you'll find these quirks to be more endearing than annoying. Give yourself plenty of time to look around. You can make several loops around the store and still not see everything they have to offer. Since its directly above Jimmy's, you occasionally get a waft of french fries as you walk around, so you might want to eat before stopping in, as it can make one begin to hunger for more than just antiques! Its a great shop that's definitely worth checking out. The owners have outstanding taste, and the items they pick are in excellent condition. You can tell that they really put their heart into their business, giving the utmost care and attention to the quality and maintenance of each and every item for sale. I don't think I've ever seen dust in this shop, which is amazing for an antique store. The hours listed are more akin to base hours, give them a call around holidays and during the summer, as they tend to extend their times of operation. There were many similar items along this strip of shops and I would have to say that this place had the best pricing, even if it had less items and was a bit of a smaller place. There were things I actually wanted to buy here but they were larger and wouldn't fit in my suitcase and I didn't want to deal with shipping. I also didn't have checks or large amount of cash on me and they ask you not to use a credit card because they will have to tack on a 2% fee. Maybe next time!

A recent score for us was two matching nightstands circa 1900. Fully intact, beautiful original finish, at an incredible price. They had just gotten them in and the owners hadn't cleaned one yet, so they made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Very friendly, helpful people here. Two floors of antiques to swoon over. Give it a try!

He loves what he does, and he enjoys talking about and showing off his numerous projects. Check out the book in his shop that shows the kind of work that he's done. This man is living the dream - he's doing what he loves, with incredible attention to detail. He's not doing it for massive profits, but because he really, really loves his work. And though he's an amazing restorer, he is most enthusiastic about repurposing older pieces to fit your current lifestyle. Ask him about his pump organ projects - something that was basically broken down and unusable was repurposed into a desk with hidden cubbies and secret panels like something out of that National Treasure movie. Which led me to basically dream planning having one of this pump organs be redesigned into a goth themed vanity of my dreams. Never mind that I live in a studio. And I was SHOCKED at how low the starting price for a project like that was - seriously, he is undercharging for the kind of work he does. I am seriously considering getting rid of my couch and tv cabinet just to make room for his custom vanity with secret cubbies and hidden drawers and expandable table tops. But if you're not ready for that and are looking for someone to fix/restore/recane/refinish cherished family pieces or even fix up that flea market find, Mr. McCann is your guy. I held onto his info and reached out to him to have him restore a 55 year old mid century one piece sofa sectional. It was my Dad's bachelor sofa. 10ft long. Over the years my folks had it reupholstered 3xs. When i inherited I had it done boldly in red Naugahyde. That was 21 years ago. Iron Gate Antiques just reupholstered in recycled leather and they added a lil height lift to it because she was a low rider. It's beautiful. The entire gang at Iron Gate made this project so much fun to do and I'm so pleased with the work they did abs the outcome
