A recent score for us was two matching nightstands circa 1900. Fully intact, beautiful original finish, at an incredible price. They had just gotten them in and the owners hadn't cleaned one yet, so they made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Very friendly, helpful people here. Two floors of antiques to swoon over. Give it a try!

I asked politely where their Annie sloan products were displayed and she told me they are fazing out of carrying the Annie Sloan products n only had a few products were left, because they were too difficult to receive shipments from the UK. needless to say, had they answered the phone and told me that, they would have saved me a lot of time and gas to drive out there. sooo frustrating!!!

So weird. It looked open, and as the owner, I would have let us continue to look. I work at a consignment shop and I would've allowed people to come in if I had left the door open. She said 'come back tomorrow ' . We told her we were leaving town, so we will come back never. The prices were high, $80 for teapot, these are not thrift-store prices. So maybe think about changing the store name from a "thrift " store to an antique shop, since the prices are ridiculous. Anyway, not a great experience.

My daughter discovered an adorable pink night stand with a crystal knob that I plan to return for. I've been making antique print jewelry for over a year now, purely for myself and friends, and I'm absolutely addicted. Thanks to Blossom & Bloom's always changing inventory, I've now built up quite a collection of fantastic materials to work with. As other reviewers have noted, they also have a regularly rotating selection of clothing at incredibly good prices. But of course, keep in mind, like any thrift store it can be hit or miss. Some days you'll find nothing, other days you'll find absolute treasures. My Mom bought a beautiful London Fog coat complete with its original tags and got it for under $10. Another day I happened to find actual, original training shorts worn by Redskins players for $3 a pair. Now my husband walks around our house in Pierre Garcon's training shorts! Yet, like any thrifting adventure, some days you'll find nothing at all. Blossom & Bloom makes that adventure worthwhile, though, thanks to its charming location and friendly, quirky staff. Of the five thrift shops in Leesburg that I'm familiar with, the Resourceful Woman is tied for…read morefourth with Blossom and Bloom. But, since all five are great, that isn't a bad thing. Rather, it just means it's the fourth best thrift shop in the area. I try to hit all the thrift shops at least once per week. For most of the others, their stock rotates pretty quickly. But I've noticed at the Resourceful Woman they don't seem to have as much turn around. This really just means that people in the area are not donating many items to them, so it isn't really their fault. As with most of the other stores (all but the Salvation Army), they are 100% charitable, with their work force being, as far as I know, volunteer. The people are nice, and their merchandise is laid out clearly and is easy to find. They have two fitting rooms if you would like to try on clothing. Some of their items tend to be a bit over priced, but for the most part they are decently priced. Overall, it is definitely worth visiting if you are already in the area, but probably not worth a trip on its own.

We were greeted by this very sweet little girl (10-12 yrs old likely the owner's daughter) who was so polite and she gave us a little history about the building before her store took it over a year ago.
