Took me forever to find this in Yelp because I thought it was called "The Fish Shed". It is located right next to the beach in Cornucopia by the other shops, just down from the marina. They offered live music today outdoors. We all enjoyed our locally caught fish from Lake Superior! The South Shore Nut Brown Ale was a perfect match for our fish meals!

Fish Tacos were great, fun place for lunch. Tables on the Siskiwit Harbor, food always tastes better when you are looking at boats.

Fast service and excellent food. Fish tacos are top notch. Don't let the "shack" appearance fool you. Great food great service.

Fast friendly service. Nice addition to the Cornucopia harbor. Great place to enjoy a cold mug of beer on a hot day.

Two words: Whitefish livers…read more Where have these been all of my life? Granted, I'm a liver eater. Chopped chicken liver is one of my all time favorite things. Duck liver, goose liver, calves liver, cod liver, monkfish liver, sign me up. But somehow whitefish livers have evaded me. These were delicious! I also had what might have been the most midwestern meal ever. Cheese curds with ranch dressing, a plate of whitefish livers, and a sweet brandy old fashioned to wash it all down. On the specialty drinks menu I couldn't resist the Berens Brandy Old Fashioned. I mean, I have been a fan of Charlie Berens for a few years but I didn't realize he had his own brandy for the definitive cocktail of Wisconsin. It was delicious, but it also turned out to be $12. For my second round I just got a regular brandy old fashioned which was also quite good, but weighed in at five bucks. Let the buyer beware. Which is ultimately why Pier Plaza fell short of the fifth star. The prices feel a bit high for what it is. Granted, it's right by the water, in a remote part of the state, and thrives on tourists. And that's fine. I have no regrets and would absolutely recommend folks who might be passing through to stop in for a very Wisconsin meal. Portions are large, so plan accordingly.

The "Pierly Pasta" with it cajuned up was awesome (breadstick included). I noticed they had a horseradish ranch... yeah I dipped the chicken in it and even threw some on the pasta. Game changer! This place - location, ambiance, water view, food, drinks - the whole package!

Drinks, followed by poutine 5 minutes later, then food about 10 minutes after that. We were all done within 30 minutes! The food was fantastic, too. Delicious poutine, with oozy gooey squeaky cheese curds. I had the smoked fish salad; it had the right amounts of everything and felt like a distinctly Duluth dish. My husband had the fish and chips. I had a bite of his fish, and it was perfect, with great batter and flavor. I would happily come here again on a visit. I can see why this is a city institution.

It was a bit chilly today, but those pickled jalapenos really helped. The seating was nice. It's great it was dog friendly, but I would recommend going on a warmer day, Iif you're bringing your furry friends. We had the bbq burger(added jalapenos) w/onion rings and poutine. I usually end up not liking the poutine at places, but will try it. Here, I actually really liked it, and will definitely get it again. The same for the onion rings, they were crispy and not too greasy. We also got the inhouse made root beer. That was quite good as well.

A great window seat. They didn't have a brewed iced tea, but I wanted something homemade.Scrub it is. Lavender, basil, and vinegar. Sounds weird yet absolutely delicious. A very thirst quenching fizzy drink. I started with a duck chowder. A generous cup of the best. No matter what the chowder is here, get it. It's very well balanced and so creamy. I got a green salad which was average. We both got the butcher's steak. It's sliced with a delicious cognac sauce. Tender and a perfect MR. It includes a side. I got some creamy mashed potatoes. Basil got wild rice. Something I don't order anymore cause it's usually so damn dull. Not here, nothing like it anywhere. I'm just gobbling it up. Next time. We shared a strawberry shortcake. In reality it was a piece of strawberry cake. Nothing shortcake about it. I just had a few bites. As I left I spotted a plate of the watermelon mozzarella salad. The guy told me it was amazing, next time for that too. That could fill in as dessert also. Ben was the best waiter, so helpful to these first timers and he looks forward to seeing us next year. An interesting place with all tourists. You get such a mix of casual and fancy the menu is the same way. Yet it all fits in. A fun drive from the hotel and A great experience.

Clean and "modern" although decorated as a hunting lodge replete with taxidermied heads of deer and bear. Very friendly staff. The menu had changed substantially from October 2024. Husband had the bourbon bacon burger on ciabatta with onion rigns and he ate every last crumb. It looked delicious. I had the fish tacos, which they are evidently known for. However they were out of whitefish that day so substituted trout with my approval. They were OK, the fine breading was a little tough and there was way too much fish on each tortilla. I wasted over half of the fish. Three huge tacos was too many, I would in retrospect suggest a choice of one, two or three. The slaw was not pineapple slaw as listed but still tasty. The french fries were hot and crispy, I am a french fry lover. We'll be back next visit.
