We went away for a weekend and found a gem of a county, lots of lovely places to visit and lots of little out of the way inns, pubs, hotels and b&bs. We went out for lunch and discovered this little Inn in the middle of beautiful Countryside. The menu had a fair selection and so I had fish and my other half had the curry which he says was great and he is a curry fanatic. The food was really good and the quality was excellent and the prices were extremely reasonable, the inn's atmosphere was family friendly and warm. As well as serving food this Inn has several rooms to let although it is normally full during the week, but weekends are possible during off peak periods, and the rates are very reasonable. The staff and landlady were very helpful and friendly and we will go there again as there was lots of interesting things to do in and around the countryside, there are couple of National Trust Properties with lovely gardens and hikes, fishing, watching the local rugby team, lovely riverside walks over the fields, or visit Leominster which is a quaint little market town. So if you are in the area and have a couple of days to spare go visit and have a meal read more
