So for someone to make such assumptions is not okay. No one knows of eachothers situation so assumptions should not have been made. So perhaps some common courtesy should be bestowed upon the staff. The restaurant sits at the corner, and it has 3 tables inside. During my visit, I was the only person who sat inside. Most customers were walk-ins and the took their orders to go.
