A classy steakhouse with a touch of down home attributes. This is a small town restaurant that…read moreplays a big game and does very well at it. Our dinner started with an order of crabcakes which by far was the BEST disappointment of the meal...We should have ordered two or three orders because they were that good. Only two cakes per order but they were definitely a flavorful app. My wife ordered the roasted red pepper salmon dish. After sampling it I would say she was pretty accurate in saying that it was one of the best prepared salmon meals she's ever had. Moist and tender, definitely will be a repeat order for her. I ventured outside of the box and tried the Creole seafood pasta platter. Disclaimer, 9 out of 10 restaurants put the least amount of scallops, shrimp and crab in these type of dishes. Porterhouse was not the exception, so I'm glad I ordered an extra skewer of shrimp. However, the one thing this dish did have going for it - it was perfectly spiced. It had a great kick to it and the best part was it wasn't too salty. Overall it was a great experience and was accompanied by really good food. Sidenote, sit on the right side if you would like it to be more quiet and family oriented. We were glad because we could hear the bar area blaring music and TVs which would have made it difficult to catch up with our local friends.

The soda tasted watered-down. I ordered salmon with red pepper cream sauce served over seasoned rice. Instead of a vibrant, fresh sauce, there was a thick layer of cheap-tasting cheese ladled all over the salmon, smothering the flavor out of everything else. The rice was bland. On a Friday evening, a good restaurant should be jam-packed; here, however, only half the tables were occupied. For three people, $140 is an insane price to pay given the low-quality food that we received. Philip M's is much better. I would be giving one star if it were not for the service, which I have no complaints about: our server was courteous and attentive, and we tipped her appropriately.

Our little group tried three different entrées and everybody loved what they got. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks, everything was on point and our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Plus the fresh baked bread was a plus.

The first evening was good -- we had…read morethe lasagna and pizza, and both were enjoyable enough that we decided to return the next night. Unfortunately, the second visit was a very different experience. I ordered the chicken piccata, and it was extremely disappointing. The sauce wasn't bright or balanced as you'd expect from a piccata. Instead, it tasted heavy and starchy, almost like thickened chicken broth, with none of the lemony depth or richness the dish should have. It was not enjoyable. It was also my birthday, which made the experience more frustrating. I let our waitress know that the dish wasn't good, but nothing was done to address it. There was no effort to adjust, replace, or even meaningfully respond, which felt dismissive. Additionally, the night before we had been told that gnocchi could be prepared for us the following evening. When we returned, that was no longer the case, and again there didn't seem to be much acknowledgment of the change. The inconsistency between the two nights was surprising. The restaurant is clearly capable of decent food, but the lack of follow-through and service recovery made the second visit disappointing.

Buffalo Wild Wings does have some nice deals where you can earn points for future purchases and they also have a military discount program along with offering free food for vets on Veteran's Day. I've never been a fan of chicken wings but the sliced up chicken tenders they serve here that they call boneless wings are actually pretty nice and their burgers are also quite tasty. They do fry things in tallow here which I'm a big fan of as it really adds more flavor along with being healthier for you. They also have weekly specials such as 2 for 1 along with all sorts of changing deals. So far I've only been to THREE locations of Buffalo Wild Wings with my very first being in Foley, AL, the second being in Hattiesburg, MS and the third being this location in Laurel, MS. Unfortunately, I have to say this location is definitely falling into third place so far based on my experience of the food and service. Everything is really slow here from putting your food order in to getting a beer. The other locations of this chain I've visited seem to do things SUPER fast... like nearly impossibly fast which leads me to guess that they already have a lot of food already cooked and ready to go. This location seems to rarely get as crowded as the locations in Foley and Hattiesburg so due to that observation I'm guessing they can't have as much food already cooked and ready to go as the far more busy locations I've visited. The continuing issue I've had at other Buffalo Wild Wings locations also exists here in that they only have mustard in packets and no mustard in a squeeze bottle which seems ridiculous in a place that is founded on having a gazillion versions of sauce! They really need to add a huge new selection of mustard sauce options such a spicy creole mustard, a tangy German mustard, French Dijon mustard etc. etc. There are so many versions of mustard across the world that it just seems negligent of BWW to not have more mustard and mustard sauce options. They literally serve pretzel knots at BWW which are begging for a German mustard! I've sent messages and emails to BFF corporate inquiring about the mustard issue but have never gotten a response...

My family and I also enjoy playing trivia, which is often played on multiple screens. The bar service is always GREAT with friendly and personable staff.
