This place is a gem! The food does not disappoint. I love the cozy feel of the place. We went on Wednesday and they had live music. It was great but a little too loud, i had to yell to talk at my table. Other than that i highly recommend. Definitely would come back again.

Definitely a must if you're in Philadelphia. On Wednesday nights they have live musics, it's a vibe. The drinks and food are delicious. Cordarrelle(might be spelled wrong) was friendly and helpful when questioned about food and drinks. Will go back every time any time I'm in Philadelphia!

Really enjoyed the whole experience here. I sat at the bar and let the waiter/bartender know I'm from out of town and it was my first time. She helped provide really good advice that left me very happy with my choices. The steak was Medium well and which was the perfect choice as the middle of a 10 oz always ends up being closer to medium. The Caesar salad came mixed with plenty of dressing. The bread pudding was some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!

    6oz Filet Mignon

Had a delicious dinner at @PhillyPorterHouse last night started off with the Crab Dip w/ Pita Chips which tasted great and was full of crab. Then I moved on to the Gumbo, which was packed with chicken, sausage, and a whole lot of flavor. Finally for the main course I had a 6oz. Filet Mignon w/ Fries. Seasoning on this steak was bold but not overpowering definitely let the meat shine and the cook was a perfect medium. All in all a very good meal!

Ribeye w/lobster. Dig the melted butter with lemon wedge in it. Slick.

First time there. Not bad for a central Mississippi steak house. Server was knowledgeable and took dam good care of me. Kept it simple and got a ribeye w/lobster tail, bake potato. My appetizer was fried green tomatoes w/lump crab. Of course, not enough lump crab on it. Other than that, everything thing was excellent. I shall return.

    Salmon and Rice

First time eating here and I was impressed! They were very busy when we arrived so we opted to sit in the bar area vs the 20+ minute wait it was going to be. The service was excellent, food was great, and the atmosphere was on point for this style of restaurant and bar. I had the Creole Red Fish with crawfish sauce and asparagus. Yes it was great! Lacked just a little on the portion in my opinion. My daughter had the Salmon and I was surprised to see her eating it. I tried a bite and was disappointed I hadn't ordered it myself. A friend of mine ordered the 20oz boned in ribeye and from the looks of it and the satisfaction on his face I think the chef must have done the job. That's about all I can say since I didn't taste it. I will definitely be going back to try the salmon and the steak in the future.

The red-fish was de-lish! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly portioned! My mouth wanted seconds but I was full! Even the sweet tea was amazing. (not everyone can make really good tea) My ONLY complaint is how quickly my plate turned into picture number two.

Overall 3.5 Stars This local steakhouse was recommended by…read morea friend to try their lunch specials. Located near the bowling alley and a few other restaurants, the exterior decor looked nice with a country flair. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The restaurant itself is small and cozy. It has about 10 booths and four tables (2 tables - seating of 4 and 2 tables - seating of 8). The booths can seat 4 or 5 if a chair is added to edge of the booth. The interior is more country style with pictures and southern decorative items. They have a one stall bathroom for Men and Women. Service: 4 Stars the servers were friendly, nice and were very helpful to answer your questions. Drinks were brought to us within two minutes after placing our orders and the meals arrived about 15-20 minutes due to lunch rush. Food: 3.5 Stars - Lunch Blue Plate Specials I ordered the hamburger steak with Mac-n-cheese and a half/half Tea. The tea arrived a hugh mason jar. Hamburger Steak: 3 Stars The grilled flat iron hamburger was the STAR of the show! It was juicy and had a nice char to the exterior. I say it was about a 6-8 ounce burger that was freshly made. The meat tasted wonderful with a clean beefy taste. You can tell a difference between a hand made burger versus a frozen pressed burger. Now, the gravy was too beefy. It took the flavor away from the burger itself. I scrapped most of the gravy to the side. It has too much of a umami taste, possibly from the beef bouillon or Worcestershire sauce. The Mac n Cheese was really creamy and cheesy. The noodles were slightly overcooked where the noodles would break apart when you use the fork to pick it up. If you are a Mac n Cheese fan, then you will like it. It was good but I think I will order the wonderful and crispy fries next time. My friend ordered the Cheesesteak sandwich w fries and Tea. 3.5 Stars He said the sandwich was good and the cheese melted nicely with the steak. However, the steak was thicker than normal cheesesteak meat. Not thinly sliced but was more hand cut with a knife in 1/4" thick. We believe the steak type was sirloin, which was tender and flavorful. The fries were hot, fresh and crispy. Had a sprinkled of sea salt and black pepper. They are open for dinner and I will definitely come back to try one of their steak entrees. Also, they have an attached butcher shop connected to the restaurant. Fresh hand cut meats, limited amounts of cheese, condiments and other items. I recommend this steakhouse.

Went here for a team dinner while in MS for work…read more It's a small Mexican/Honduran restaurant with colorful decor, pretty good parking, and decent hours. The service was ok, and the staff were friendly, but it was definitely not amazing and was quite slow. I had to ask 3 different people to bring me the sour cream that I ordered as well as lemons, and the tomatillo sauce that was given (it's in refillable bottles) was empty so I had to ask for another after they walked away. Now to the food. I got the supreme enchiladas order which comes with 1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 cheese, and 1 bean enchilada with lettuce, guacamole, tomatoes, and cheese on top. The enchiladas were small, and the ingredients fresh, but the flavor was extremely bland, which was surprising for a Mexican restaurant. I mean, I could have had a more flavorful meal at Taco Bell. I ordered rice and refried beans on the side, and while the rice was decent, but nothing to write home about, the beans tasted metallic or artificial like it had been just scooped out of a can; it was not edible. TLDR: I'm giving 2 stars because the people were friendly and were trying hard, and the prices were really cheap (like $11 for my meal without the extras) but the food is just bland, even if the ingredients are fresh.
