Overall 3.25 Stars…read more Ambiance: 3 stars Located in Union, the gas station/ convenience store has a solid hot tray and made to order items. You can order loaded potatoes burgers, po-boys, chicken tenders, sides, pizzas, ice cream and blue plate items. The serve breakfast and lunch plates. The place is clean and orderly with a few tables where you can have your meal. Food: 3 Stars I ordered the Steak Fajita Loaded Baked Potato. The large russet potato is the based and the server loaded it with 4-5 ounces of sirloin steak, cheese, tomatoes, onions, sauté green peppers and onions, and jalapeño. You get one package sour cream, but don't come with salsa or butter. Grab a soda fountain drink and the meal comes out to be $12.50. You won't go hungry after you eat it. The taste was ok. The fajita seasoning was lacking but you can taste each of the ingredients which was good. The potato was hot and steamy so be careful when you take your first bite. I just wish they had salsa or butter to help the steamy potato out. Service: 3.5 Stars The staff were pleasant and professional.

Cute brewery in downtown Meridian…read more I have been twice now so it's time to write a review. The space is really cool. It's an older building but very spacious and updated. Perfect for groups big or small. The staff members are all so friendly and welcoming. And they're incredibly efficient! Both times I visited I had the chicken Caesar salad. It's a healthy portion for a great price and very tasty. I also tried their blueberry sour and it's delicious. A great place to visit!

I had the Ignacio Mexican lager with a twist of lime, it was delicious and refreshing on a hot day. To eat, I had the pulled pork tots, and they hit the spot! The service was friendly, we had a nice chat with the bartender who had recently moved to the area. The dining area was family friendly and we saw a few generations enjoying the good music and movies on TV.

I visited Cuba One Stop in Cuba, Alabama [330 Hwy 80 Spur] on Friday, 06/05/26, around 2 PM…read more I had a quick stop at this place because I was doing a lengthy road trip. I needed to utilize the restroom as well as pick up snacks. As far as food, I picked up the following: * Bai Simbu Strawberry Water Beverage * Baken-Ets Hot 'N Spicy Chicharrones * Fried White Bullhead (White Catfish) I was especially impressed with the cookery of the White Catfish, since it was my first time having it. It was seasoned to perfection and deep-fried with a golden crust. It also tasted incredible paired with the tartar sauce, hot sauce, and white bread. Lastly, I enjoyed that the fish did not have a fishy taste at all. The individuals working inside were beyond kind and pleasant. I was assisted by a sweet gentleman at the front counter, who was also raving about the tasty White Catfish. He also told me to "have a blessed day." That interaction provided such a warm, positive experience. I highly recommend stopping by Cuba One Stop, whether it's for gas, a restroom break, snacks, or delicious fried fish!

We were in luck because the lunch menu was AH-mazing. I saw the chicken salad sandwich (on wheat, you can choose croissant), and it was the so fresh, delicious, with lettuce and tomato, just the way I like it at home. The sandwich is quite large, it could be two meals for me. I chose chips to go with, you can choose a fruit cup. The hubs can't have dairy so he was able to get Fried Green Tomato BLT, and boy it delivered. My kiddo wasn't hungry but able to find homemade yogurt (it's so good!), and a side fruit cup. She was so happy with that selection. There's something for everyone at this cozy spot. Be sure to head to the counter to order and then they give you a little number and bring your food to your table. For sure we will be stopping by to grab a meal when we road trip through this area next time!
