We (my wife and I) have had a very good experience at The Core Institute. She severely injured her knee while we were skiing, first run of the season! She had to be taken to the ER, which was a horrible experience. They basically told her to splint her leg and ice it. Couldn't say anything else. So we made an appointment here soon afterwards. Within the first few minutes of having her in one of the rooms, Jessica figured out that she has an MCL tear, and possibly a meniscus tear or ACL tear (pending MRI confirmation). We got an MRI at another facility that they made an appointment for, and now we are just waiting to hear the results of that. Update: We got the MRI results and her ACL is torn! So she needs surgery. The Core Institute is also helping us out with this, as well as helping fit my wife for a better brace to be used post-surgery. read more

At that time I needed 2 knee replacements. Because of the treatment at RPM I was able to be released on March 22, 2024. I did NOT NEED KNEE REPLACEMENTS ON EITHER KNEE! If I could rate this a zero I would. No follow up care. Called and left messages - no one return my call. Called again went through several annoying prompts for urgent matter. Left my phone number thinking a nurse practitioner would call. I get a call from a girl operating another location who works for their management company. Not even a medical person. She said the Core Institute does not receive phone calls! Wow. I am working with their office because the antibiotic prescribed to my son, tore holes in my son's stomach. He can't eat anything. They prescribed it for 14 days twice a day. Urgent care doctor questioned the doctors over prescribing. Just a headache. read more

Physical Therapist Eric Neal and Brandon Buckner are the best. My daughter has had 2 ACL repairs and they have been extremely beneficial to her recovery and return to WOMANS SOCCER!! If there were a minus scale in stars, this would be the place I'd use that for. Wrong info given on first visit to set up MRI that took me 4 hours to clear up on the phone from home. Results were ready by follow up appointment but I waited over an hour for doctor to get them and be ready for my visit. (This happens almost everywhere though, so in itself fairly common practice.) No acknowledgement nonetheless for the wait and started visit off making me look responsible for not being in the room when he walked in "awhile ago." (Um...). Rude and arrogant when he finally did walk in. Waste of so much time. Heaven forbid we don't just nod and smile politely at this kind of thing...I probably should have done that and maybe all would have gone better?? I would tell anyone looking for help to avoid this place and look elsewhere. No one needs this nonsense, especially when in pain and having already gone through one goose chase too many, one dose of sass too many. First time at The Core Institute. Beautiful new building. Can't say enough about the staff. They were just great! Very professional and friendly. Dr Bak was super. I have had severe arthritis for a long time with bone on bone in my knee. Took x-rays and they were worst than I thought. 3 options were given. Do nothing. Injection or knee replacement. I opted for the injection. No pain during or after. He said it would take about a week to kick in but I felt better almost right away. I can walk and do stairs without pain for the first time in a long time. Thank you Dr Bak and your staff! read more
